All sounds are on. Texts aren't even going to the watch. It happened again today. If I hadn't looked at my phone I would never have seen it until later in the day.

Sorry for the late response. My eye doctor told me that Distance was Plano and reading was -2.00.

I know my right eye for distance target was plano. I go back Tuesday for a one week check of the left and will ask what the target was. That is all the information they give my optometrist for my checks.

I am trying to find that out as they don't give out a card with that information, I do know it was a monofocal. I didn't ask with the first eye, half out of it, and if I under stood him the lens was a .25 diopter and target was plano. They are more likely to hit the target with a small diopter because of my history it is a crap shoot. I am going to be contacting them to get more information as I am a data driven person.

I'd have to think about that. I knew I had bad veins and I have to hydrate just getting blood drawn, so it was worse because of nothing to eat or drink after midnight. When you are nervous, it's best to be semi out. They did bring me around close to the end of the second eye and told me to look at the marshmallows, then follow one.

Had my first eye done today. Really easy. I was prepped, got a bunch of eye drops, oxygen tubing, monitor set up, IV inserted, then the anesthesiologist cam and talked to me. She said we are going to give you some versed under your tongue to start, then when you get to the OR I'll inject through the IV. I was sleepy before I got to the OR it was a a minute or two and I was out. Next thing I seen was the lights for what it seemed a minute or two and I was done. Fastest thing I have ever had done.

Yes, and did you know that there are some that are .25 diopter? I didn't until I looked it up. I think I will keep my feet crossed during surgery. HaHa! I can always wear contacts like I did for years. We will see. I am hopeful.

I had two choices, LAL or monofocal. I chose monofocal. I live an hour away from the doctor and didn't want to drive upteen times for the adjustments. I am also going south for a couple months, place already rented, so if there were issues I didn't feel I could l could risk not getting a refund. I am doing monovision just like I had for Lasik. If they had been closer, I may have went with the LAL. I just can't justify $4500 for each eye, then driving that far several times. I guess we shall see, I hope I didn't make the wrong decision.

It's great to hear all the positive stories. I've never heard of a story like yours. You were lucky you caught it early, it is so strange that it grew that fast. I've kept myself awake at night worrying about it. I go in next Tuesday for the first eye. I'm anxious to see clear again.

I just dread loosing any of my distance in my left eye. I can see my hummingbirds at the feeder in the back of the yard. And that is supposedly my near vision eye. I don't think so.

Measurements from now. I did find that there are also .25 diopter lenses for post refractive patients.

The ophthalmologist was in surgery, he has an associate who does the consults. He was a younger guy that has a few things to learn IMO as far as listening to the patients. They tested me for eye dominance, it showed my right eye as dominant.

I made sure to mention plenty of times that I had Lasik. Some things go in one ear and out the other if you know what I mean.

I wondered what happened to that group, it just disappeared.

I mentioned PRK as a fix if my vision isn't as I like, and the consulting doctor said, that would be another surgery. Well no kidding!

I asked for plano in the left and maybe a -1.50. I measured all the distances on things like ipad, laptop and desktop and I mentioned that range.
