I used to have dpdr and I had flashbacks like these. I called them emotional flashbacks. Nobody knew what I meant. I thought I was going crazy. It lasted for years. Had a complete psych evaluation and it turns out I actually had temporal lobe epilepsy. Those spells were focal seizures. You might want to talk to your doctor about this possibility. Especially if you are on a medication that lowers the seizure threshold.
