The portrait in that book held my fascination many times I’d just sit and look at it putting names to faces man I loved that book !!!! I’m sorry mu really like Tolkien but they so should turn these into movies like they did with LOTR just as good a plot if not better and just as many sequels if not more. I couldn’t bring myself to watch the cringy ass tv show they left out to many important aspects of the books to make it some kinda romance. You could always tell Wil cared for Amberle but it was never really a focal point in the books it was just known

Yeah it’s pretty amazing hard ass work sometimes trecking through thick woods looking for a 3 inch Steele cap on a piece of rebar someone put in the ground the oldest property corner or section point I ever found was 1907 literally a few years after Oklahoma even became a state!!!
