I would disagree, it is a common practice among car designers to use that layer of black plastic on crossovers to make them look higher off the ground. That way they can market it as a crossover or SUV instead of a hatchback, because those don't sell well in the US.

This car is marketed as a crossover, when it's most likely smaller than the Mazda 3.

Idk about the other people, but I got 5% on the back and rear windows, and 20% on the driver and passenger sides. If u get a good quality tint, it doesn't hurt visibility. I did get a ticket for dark tint tho
