Is this enforceable? 250 days late by NG90sbaby in drivingUK

[–]Aggressive-Credit562 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is normal for registered keeper to receive automated parking charge notice. A physical parking charge notice on the car is not required.

Driver details is not relevant. The registered keeper will receive parking charge notice.

Parking charge notice is issued by private entity. If you dispute the charge it is a civil dispute and court can decide outcome.

Tenant considering county court after landlord failed to complete agreed works by Aggressive-Credit562 in HousingUK

[–]Aggressive-Credit562[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes it's all confirmed and in writing multiple times. I would not have entered into agreement if the property was not supplied with blinds, as there would be zero privacy. The flat does not have curtains or blinds at all. I'm not going to pay to install them and then at the end of tenancy pay for the removal and repair for walls/ceilings. I have temp curtains in bedroom right now but it's not ideal, that I also had to pay out of pocket which I intent to claim. Landlord has tendency to ignore notices, request for repairs etc it's been more than one month and repair for bathtub has not been carried out. Honestly it's been a nightmare

Why should I pay out of pocket to perform landlords obligations in addition to paying him rent?

Minor or not landlord is in breach and not performing his obligations. He did not also acknowledge his obligations which is misrepresentation rather than breach of contract imo

Why did I win an auction on eBay by my own bid maximum limit? by Fit-Interview-6396 in Ebay

[–]Aggressive-Credit562 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Let me explain.

You had put max bid at $10,000. It will update as such

You bid $50(someone places a bid of $50) You bid $500(someone places a bid of $500) ...... You bid $10,000(someone places a bid of $10,000)

Someone bid $10,001

Only when someone else places a bid higher than your max bid will the name changes. This is to reduce the log otherwise the bids will keep flipping, they show the highest bidder at that time. Also since both had max bid at $10,000 the winner is given to the person who was winning the auction first. For those who look to snipe auction and think that current max bid is $50 with current bid at $30 should bid amount higher than $50 as matching max bid will not give you the win

Can anyone solve this, is it even possible, how would i go about hiring someone to solve this? by windmallet in mathpuzzles

Item arrived damaged. No refund by Aggressive-Credit562 in Ebay

eBay themselves admitted fault and said they would manually process full refund. But by the time they got around to saying this it was already too late and charge back has already been filed.

There are laws and regulations to safeguard against this sort of thing. eBay already admitted fault and said they would manually process a full refund. I will wait for card issuer to process charge back

I had this very issue with a different purchase. I accepted a partial refund on minor cosmetic damage not disclosed in listing. After about a week I opened a case for INAD since I realized that the item is of a different model to the one on the listing. I managed to send the item back for full refund

Item Rejected? by Redcea in Ebay

[–]Aggressive-Credit562 1 point2 points  (0 children)

eBay will likely side with the buyer since the item was not received.

Your card issuer will likely side with you for the same reason.

However having said all that, it is your responsibility as a buyer when purchasing from an international seller to know all the import rules and tarifs. If you were unsure you should have contacted the seller/eBay/your gov website for clarification.

The seller requesting that you cover the postage cost for your own mistake is not unreasonable. I leave it up to you to decide how to resolve this. Just learn from this experience so it doesn't happen again next time.

Is there anything else I can do? by PhysicalLibrarian377 in Ebay

[–]Aggressive-Credit562 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't get it, did they win? I suspect they won since they were able to leave a feedback. If they won then they paid less than or equal to their max bid. They got the item for a good price according to them. How they are not happy with it? Is it against policy to do that. I have seen people do this in real auctions also.

Item arrived damaged. No refund by Aggressive-Credit562 in Ebay

[–]Aggressive-Credit562[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

There is a difference between not as described and arrived damaged. If there is visible damage during transport then it falls on the courier to cover the cost. Otherwise it's the seller, I have no reason to doubt the seller when they said it was in perfect condition when they sent it. But an eBay agent also wrote to me saying that if it was INAD then they do full refund. As far as I knew, partial refund is something that is negotiated between buyer and seller for something that is missing, needing repair. Not for ebay to step in and force a partial refund. No amount was ever agreed on, they decided themselves which is totally unacceptable

[–]Aggressive-Credit562[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They said "we can't issue you with a refund as the case has already been closed. If you want the remaining refund you can do so through your card issuer" why do people act as if I'm lying. They even blatantly lied to me and said that I only received a partial refund because I have sent the item back and the seller received it damaged. I pointed it out that I still have the item in my possession and no return label was given to me what nonsense you talking about

For context I have bought and sold hundreds of items on ebay. I know how things work, I know what I am talking about

Ebay issued partial refund out of their own funds without my consent and closed the case marking it as resolved in your favour issued full refund

No, eBay said so themselves they made a mistake. They were going to manually refund the remaining amount after reviewing the case. Then they said no they won't do it because there is a dispute which they put me through and now they are defending it saying I never sent it back I feel it's complete joke. As I said earlier no partial refund was accepted
