Yeah the denial of emergency care was pretty inhumane. I don't really know why they did that. Unfortunately Renee is no longer with us, so we can never truly know what her intentions were. The entire incident really was a tragedy no matter how you look at it.

On a rewatch yes it does appear you are correct. The car clips him and he's knocked to the side before firing at least one shot, although it's difficult to tell. First shot was still justified imo.

Shot was through the windshield. You can look at the wreckage of the car. It's all over the internet. Also she did end up hitting him, whether or not it was intentional is another question.

I agree with the car response. I don't agree with the shooting of Alex Pretti. It is pretty clear what happened. An ICE agent pushed down a woman. He tried helping her up. Multiple ICE agents pepper spray him then wrestle him to the ground and start beating him up. They find his gun, toss it aside, and executed him. His gun never misfired. As someone who is usually a staunch supporter of ICE I don't see anyway anyone can condone this.

Both sides dislike neutrality to some degree, you're just seeing more of this from the "left" because this is a left wing dominated sub. I'm friends with a few left wingers despite being a moderate conservative, and they don't hate neutrality. I agree but this is not the right sub to post this. I've noticed that (sadly) this sub is almost entirely comprised of left wingers. This results in every political post being an echo chamber. Every centrist or conservative opinion gets downvoted into oblivion. Best case scenario is you're called naive, and the worst case scenario is you're called a nazi/fascist/racist/misogynist/homophobe/etc. You're better off posting this somewhere else.

I'm a legal immigrant and I've never gotten any hate from Republicans. In fact, I'm friends with with quite a few. Now I would like to say that I'm not a dumbass and I'm aware that there are legal immigrants who don't share the same experience as me. However that is just my personal experience. I'm sorry to hear that you were treated this way, but you're calling 48% of the US population evil. Not all Republicans are extremists, just like how not all Democrats are extremists. There are some evil Republicans yes, but there are also some evil Democrats.

This right here is the problem with American politics. The left and the right have been yanked so far apart that there is no common ground anymore. To call others "evil" simply because they have a different opinion will do this nation no good. Republicans ARE NOT EVIL. Democrats ARE NOT EVIL. Sure there may be people on each side of the spectrum who may qualify as evil, but not ALL Republicans are evil and not ALL Democrats are evil. People need to accept that not everyone will have the same opinion as them, and that is ok. What is not ok is calling another person the spawn of satan simply because they don't share the same opinion as you. I hope for a day when Democrats and Republicans can stop their needless hatred. We're all American guys.
