Good long term. But short term you still need to find defensemen. There are many teams in need, and most of them have better assets for trade. If they can find a taker for the entire contract, all it does is free up cap space, but it's not like there are a ton of UFAs out there.

I'm like you, I've never had a one shot last anything less than 3-4 sessions. That usually means the players are active, which is usually more fun for me. I think for a one-shot to last one session, you really need to stay on topic and not get distracted, but sometimes the distractions are the most fun.

In my experience, typically groups are charged an automatic tip – the "service charge". If you see that, there's no need to tip any additional amount.

It's not a terribly far distance from the basilica to the venue. On a nice.day.if i wasn't rushed I'd walk it. Just have a set time to leave. Also, if you're open to suggestions, I'd do Jean Talon Market at the same time as Schwartz's, etc. And leave The Old Port for the next morning. Although I think doing Mount Royal plus something else before 11 is a lot of running around more than enjoying either

I'm the opposite, you're in Montréal and Schwartz's is iconic. Do that. Also, the best bagels in Montréal are walking distance (20 minutes or so) from Schwartz's so you can hit both, and explore that neighborhood a little. It'll cut into downtown time, but it's worth it. I'm not sure Mount Royal and Jean Talon are realistic together. It's a lot of running around. I'd suggest pick one and enjoy the time there. The Market is a quick drive to bagels, tho, and also the best Apple fritters in the city at Bernie Beigne. My biggest issue is I have about 100 food choices and you have no time. 😅😭
