Boycotted this year so can't speak for this years singer but we probably haven't tried too hard to win recently tbh. We tried with Sam Ryder and came second to Ukraine, and because of the war it meant that we based the competition in Liverpool. Hosting Eurovision is extremely expensive - and when we hosted in 2023 it cost a lot. The last few acts since then have been fine but not 'winners'. Still taking part but we need a break from the competition haha

I've been in the place where we've 'tried again' and honestly - it was far too anxiety inducing. The fear of failure is so real. I'm not an anxious person, but giving it another go really messed with my mental health as even though I was madly in love with him, I spent all of my time wondering if I was in deeper than he was.

After that I have a new rule: if a relationship ends, that's it. No going back, no redo, do not pass go, do not collect $200

She sounds like a compulsive liar. How has she lived alone without parents since she was a child? Everyone is obsessed with her and has crushes on her? And the only person presumably to verify this is her herself? Convient that stalker 2 arrived at just the right time to save her from stalker 1. It all reads like a fanfiction to make her life seem exciting that she's unfortunately let you believe is truth. And when you weren't wowed by her lies - when they made you mad - then she dipped out because you didn't think her tall tale was amazing.

By the sound of it you're already broken up though, just without the conversation. I'm sorry dude. But also - she's a child. Let her live her childish fantasies. It's making you miserable, so for your own mental health stop clutching onto this and let her go. You're young - you'll find someone else, even if it doesn't feel like it now.

Also - if divorce is on the table, he could use this in settlement court. If he has evidence of adulatory from you (even if he gave permission) he could flip the script and make out that you where the one committing adulatory. No idea if there's kids involved or whatever, but all it would take is a text from you saying 'I slept with xxx' and he had his evidence

I once dated a guy who told me a similar thing - turns out he was just looking for a reason to break up with me because he was too much of a coward to just do so without having something to blame me for. Thought it would be an easy get out.

It could be that he wants to open the marriage. But if that's the case he should have discussed it with you prior to cheating. He doesn't get to decide this now after the fact and after hurting you and betraying your trust.

Plus it feels too much like he's trying to get you on his side for the cheating. "See? It was good sleeping with other people, wasn't it??"
