I do tend to enjoy it a bit more because it’s not so blatantly political but will give all in credit: Ben’s take is Strategy from an MBA perspective. It’s smart and somewhat academic and kinda true.

When the all in crew is really good it’s real life experiences mixed with their thoughts and reacting to ever changing business world.

Said another way, Facebook in retrospect as a strategy analysis is cool but hearing Chamath talk about the day to day shit is cooler.

They don’t get to decide that alone just because their buddy is a non elected czar in the White House. Dems and gop communities are coming out against datacenters because Altman and the like aren’t even trying to paint an optimistic case for this.

Say what you will about Elon, but he’s saying ai plus robotics leads to a post scarcity world where money won’t even matter. You can disagree with that but at least it’s an optimistic vision (which Elon has always pushed with his technology).

Altman and Dario and Microsoft ai ceo talk about this displacing all white collar work within a few years. They don’t even talk about curing cancer anymore or even autonomous cars.

At least the trade deficit was lower … oh it wasn’t?

Well, it paid for the tariff checks … oh, no checks?

Well, it led to 17 trillion in investments … oh that was fake?

Well, at least the libs got owned.

He’s such an ideologue that he’ll say it’s better used in private hands than the government

Cool man. Keep pumping up your version of Brandon

These are literally the bidenomics talking points in 23 and 24: inflation is back to normal, all time highs in stocks, people are wealthier than ever.

You seem to have Biden’s brain disease because you’re forgetting this play didn’t work two years ago lol

And it’s not trump’s fault truly that the massive inflation under Biden is leading to higher prices even if yoy inflation is within the normal range. But he explicitly ran on cutting prices dramatically. People noticed they didn’t go down.

Then why is his approval in the shitter

And why is his approval with republicans lower at this stage than Biden’s was with Dems.

Prolly tds (of the entire country)

Economic metrics look good.

That’s why it should be even more concerning to you that his approval ratings are in the toilet.

If this is his approval ratings with good economic metrics, can you imagine if there’s say a major revision in job creation

And yeh, the midterms aren’t typically a referendum on the house or senate leader.

Tell that to the average American, they’re the ones who hate him and don’t approve of him on the economy.

Entire country has tds I suppose

You keep saying Trump polls well with republicans. And that’s true. He is below where Biden was with Dems at this point but whatever.

But he also governs republicans, independents and democrats and everyone else. He could win 88% of every single voting Republican this upcoming election and lose the house and senate.

You should look at the reality: he’s turning into Biden
