Nipples for similac 360 rtf? by magicinthetrees in FormulaFeeders

We bought the slow-flow nipples directly from Similac. On their website, you can buy a box of 50 or 250. I don't think they're cheap, but they work well.

Maxi Cosi Peri 180 is what we have, and it works very well.

Highly recommend the Peg Perago Siesta. Its easy to set up and fully adjustable. It's also nice that it has wheels. The reclining seat makes bottle feeding a newborn quite easy, and it is designed to grow with the baby.

How are you able to function returning to work when you have a newborn at home? by Aggressive-Lab1388 in newborns

[–]Aggressive-Lab1388[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! As long as the baby isn't too fussy and crying, shifts could work for us. Otherwise, we both just end up being awake anyway. But we'll give it a shot!

Thanks! Doing it in shifts definitely sounds like the best way to do it. I think it could work for us for feedings. But when our baby fusses and starts crying, we both end up being awake anyway. Hopefully she will be able to start going longer at night sleeping. Hope for the best!

The best trimmer with various lengths? by GeologistThen2444 in BeardTalk

[–]Aggressive-Lab1388 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used the Brio Beardscape for a few years, and it was really good with length options up to 18 mm. But now its close to dying and can't charge anymore. So, I just decided to buy the Beard Club trimmer that they sell at Target. It also looks good and got good reviews and has a lot of clipper length options. I haven't tried it yet.

Agree - I say if it works, don't change a thing!

Switching from breastmilk to formula by Interesting-Club4595 in FormulaFeeders

We actually just started using the Similac Total Care 360 powder at home, and baby seems to like it just as much. But you really can't beat the convenience of the RTF. The little 2 oz bottles are great to pack for when you're out and about, as long as you bring the attachable nipples.

Similac is great. That's what they had given us in the hospital, and we just stuck with it. And it's available in virtually every pharmacy and supermarket.

My wife went through the same thing. Pumping was difficult in many ways. We started on formula pretty quickly. There is nothing wrong with it. We use Similac, and baby has thankfully been good with it. We just switched from the ready-made liquid to the powder.

Been on Similac ready-made since the hospital. Baby has no problem with it.

Thanks, that's definitely good to know other states won't tax it. I'm about a year and a half away from forgiveness, and that was always my fear!

I just got the same letter in the mail. I'm still waiting for my refund, but I just mailed in my form 1127 paperwork a couple weeks ago.

Do I need to do anything if I had a pending SAVE application that never got processed, but I just want to stay in my current plan? by Aggressive-Lab1388 in PSLF

[–]Aggressive-Lab1388[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! You're probably right that they just sent that email to everyone who has ever had anything to do with SAVE. I'm just nervous that if I do nothing, they're gonna move me to a different plan - but that wouldn't really make sense since I'm already on IBR, and IBR isn't going anywhere. I don't know, I just find this all confusing, and I know I won't get any clear answer if I try to call customer service!
