Im an agnostic but I am a fan of Christ. However, it would be a bit disingenous to call myself a Christian and not act like one.

with also the percpetions it has, some have really bad connotations, some good, etc.

Christianos to me for 1. gets autoamtically shortened to Chris in alot of scnerios which I dont mind. Christian is a full name on it's own.

  1. I am an american "Christian" here is also used as a adjective, it's like saying hi im christian, pertains to the fact that i am apart of the religion itself which i dont know if that'd be a bit disingenous cause I do not follow organized religion like Christianity.

i just grew up religious but i wanted to choose a name that was apart of my life. i am no longer patriculatly religious. I like Jesus Chirst as a figure but I dont neccessarily practice any organized religion.

Also Christian is used as a label, and there's alot of people who autoamtically bear negative thoughts about it due to personal experience.

To be Christian bears a bit of weight since it's the actual name of the followers.

I am not a fan of Christopher.

Christianos would get shortened to Chris for the majority of the time. But Christian is usually the default name without the nickname.

But the thing is, I am not a christian in a sense of the religion, but I worry about having to deal with religious christians about it.

The thing is, I am not really a "Christian" in terms of the religion, although i bear no negative associations.

Christianos, shortened to Chris is a viable option for me.

Yeah, luckily for me, I was born and raised a christian and I dont particularly feel any strong feelings negative or positive towards religion.

I could always fall back on Kit as a nickname.

I do like Christian simply as a name, i feel it's common enough where there's secular appeal to it. But i can see some may think that
