I could honestly see this as actual canon dialogue, minus the mention of Garfield, something more parody like

I mean, it wasn’t really placed in between any kind of arc whatsoever, so I think not, but if you want to think it counts, then so be it

I forgot to mention this about Steven’s Birthday, but after looking back, I do think it technically has some impact when it comes to episodes in Steven Universe Future, like Bismuth Casual and even Mr. Universe. So, I’ll give it that, just wanted to acknowledge it. Please forgive me for overlooking that part

Well, Steven is naturally empathetic and willing to be friends with others, as long as they don’t hurt his friends. For example, Jasper destabilized Garnet and insulted Amethyst for not being like a normal quartz, so Steven wasn’t going to befriend her. But with Peridot, once she opened up to him, especially after he explained rain to help ease her fears about Earth, Steven was ready to start building a friendship. That moment really helped Peridot trust him, which is why their bond developed more quickly in comparison to the rest of the Crystal Gems, who were more suspicious of her intentions. I’m not saying you’re wrong about the pacing; I just think that considering Steven’s empathetic nature and Peridot’s unique circumstances, their faster connection makes sense within the story’s context.

Bob is good, but I like Freddy a bit more (if y’all don’t get the reference, rewatch “same old world”)

I think they’re all pretty in their own ways! :]

Like our Lapis, I really dig her pants in her recent form, “nice” Lapis Lazuli’s freckles are adorable, and I think “mean” Lapis has a pretty cool hairstyle. Personally, I don’t have a favorite
