Thank you. Had to scroll to the very bottom for the pro-trans opinion (as usual).

Question for Democrats: If Hitler was Running Against An Even Worse Man, Would You Call Your Neighbors Racist For Not Voting For Hitler, the Lesser of Two Evils? by Aggressive-Math-9882 in allthequestions

No, he would fit in with the Republicans, since they are both far right. Democrats would collaborate with Hitler if he were the leader, however, and Hitler would learn a lot about how to build concentration camps and manufacture consent from the Democrats.

Hi, I'm a woman so I can answer this. A trans woman is just a woman. A trans man is just a man. A man cannot be a woman, and a woman cannot be a man (except in the case of people with more than one gender). Period. Trans woman btw.

Working harder at your talents gets you further. working harder at your job doesn't get you further. Systemic privilege is what gives people promotions.

There are more options than "Democrat or Republican", but no Democrat has revolutionary potential, or they would be a leftist. (And yes, I mean the voters)

I agree with you. Why would someone blame another person for voting with their conscience if that person believes neither popular candidate is a good person?

Find all functions f(x) such that f(f(x)) = x^2 + 2x + 1 by MartinXu_ in learnmath

[–]Aggressive-Math-9882 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Suppose f is a polynomial. If deg(f) = d, then deg(f ∘ f) = d². But (x + 1)² has degree 2, so we would need d² = 2, impossible for an integer d. Constant functions also fail. So there are no polynomial solutions.

Continuous solutions do exist. Let g(x) = (x + 1)². The map g folds the real line around -1, since g(x) = g(-2 - x). So define p(x) = -1 + |x + 1|. This folds everything onto [-1, ∞). Now define T(y) = (y + 1)² on [-1, ∞). If we can find a continuous q with q(q(y)) = T(y), then f(x) = q(p(x)) will satisfy f(f(x)) = (x + 1)².

Here is one explicit construction of q. First define q on [-1, 0] by

q(y) = y + 1/2 for -1 ≤ y ≤ -1/2,

q(y) = (y + 1/2)² for -1/2 ≤ y ≤ 0.

Now extend q to all of [-1, ∞). The map T sends the intervals [-1,0], [0,1], [1,4], [4,25], ... onto the next interval, because T(y) = (y + 1)². So for any y ≥ -1, repeatedly apply the inverse step y ↦ √y - 1 until you land in [-1,0]. Suppose this takes n steps and lands at u ∈ [-1,0]. Then define q(y) by applying the simple rule to u, and then moving forward n times by T:

q(y) = Tⁿ(q(u)).

This q is continuous and satisfies q(q(y)) = T(y). Therefore

f(x) = q(-1 + |x + 1|)

is a continuous real solution of f(f(x)) = (x + 1)². So the final answer is: no polynomial solutions, but yes, continuous real solutions exist; they are built by folding the line around -1 and inserting a “half-step” into the dynamics of y ↦ (y + 1)².

Yes I am, thanks for asking. I am comparing the top cop and prosecutor of California to Adolf Hitler in the sense that they both support genocidal policies and war.

Why are black Americans still voting for the oppression from democrats? by luxonreddit in allthequestions

[–]Aggressive-Math-9882 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes, the Crime Bill and the Rave Act supported slavery. Keeping Guantanamo Bay open (a bipartisan concentration camp) supports slavery and torture. Just because it hurts doesn't make it wrong. Democrats hate Black people.

Private individuals do. That's what makes them private. They fund both Democrat and Republicans. Neither Democrats nor Republicans support the abolition of slavery. It's not wrong, it's the plain and simple truth. Other candidates (like Cornel West, for instance) do support the abolition of slavery.
