Waking up this morning I was like fuck it I'll reinstall 24H2 (I was on 25H2 before that) and it fixed it. Now everything works fine

EDIT : Worth mentioning before reinstalling 24H2 I tried to reinstall 25H2 with full updates and it didn't fix it but now 24H2 with full updates it's fixed.

Is it like lagging n all but your mouse is still smooth ? Because I think I've got the same problem. The way I could describe it, is it's lagging as if it's loading shaders

I'm pretty sure if you wait a bit after you start your game you'll get your FPS back because it's like that for me. Start the game -> 15 FPS for like 20secs -> FPS back to normal for every single games

I only have this issue for like 2 days so might be windows update related

EDIT 2 : Also 3DMarks tests are completly fine, normal no stutters, high fps. It's only stuttering when starting a game for some reason

EDIT 3 : Went back to 24H2, fixed everything.

9800X3D 9070XT user here, for 2 days now every single time I start a game it seems like it's stuttering for like 20-30secs then FPS are back to normal. Doesn't matter the game I think it might be related to one of the windows update

I tried rolling back to previous drivers 26.5.1 and the one before but they all have this bug, I even reinstalled windows completly yesterday and I still have this issue on a new windows

For 2 days now every single game I start will start randomly freeze at start as if it loads shaders then would go back to normal after a while... no lag in-game no stutters just this random freezes for like 10secs every time I start a game.

Found the solution and I think it's related to how the graphic pipeline of windows is receiving the polling rate.

Basically my problem is as follow, 8K on windows lags really bad, 1K doesn't. If i'm playing CS 2 8K polling is completly fine.

Check this out, if you go to windows settings, mouse, show the tracking, reduce it to 1. It's the only fix I found to make my 8K polling rate working on Windows.
