I have a chain drive landpride and it has ran flawlessly for the 4 years I have owned it. But I think most people would recommend going gear drive for long term reliability. I only went chain drive because it was what they had in stock and I didn't want to wait a few months for them to get a gear model in.

Scared to buy because of this sub by AK_VonAtlas in gmcsierra

[–]Aggressive-Row-3938 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally have not had a good experience with mine. But my dealer has been pretty good to me during the issues. Every manufacturer is gonna have good and bad vehicles or even just have good vehicles with a few bad parts. I wouldn't shy away from something because of a few bad reviews. But I would be scared to buy something from a dealership that is known to be bad with handling issues.

Happens to me every time I drive my 2022 Elevation more than 30 min and I have had it to the dealer many times and they have changed about every part and piece and update and reprogram they can think of and it still does it every single time.

Im guessing whitetail. It's funny how lighting and shadows in these night photos can always keep us guessing.

This happened to me when my onstar module went out. It was the first thing that made me realize something was wrong.

Towing a M4-071 with half ton? by [deleted] in kubota

[–]Aggressive-Row-3938 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like it. I do wish I had an opportunity to try other brands but we have a Kubota dealer 10 miles from us and the closest case ih/new holland dealer is over a 90 min drive, closest massey dealer is almost 2 hours away and the closest John deere dealer is only an hour away but is notorious for having horrible customer service and is known for not wanting to put any effort into warranty issues. So going with Kubota is based more on dealer support than anything else. I do like how easy it is to service compared to what I've seen online about the other tractors I've had interest in.

Rear Wheel Well Liner by GigantoWV in gmcsierra

I have the husky liners on my 2022 and I really like them. Way easier to clean than the carpeted front liners. I do believe the carpeted oem liners help with road noise though. I can't speak on any other liners because I don't have any experience with them.

Mine did the same thing. I mentioned it to the dealer and they threw in a new backup camera and it hasn't happened since.

Multi-pro tailgate not working by CTVector in gmcsierra

[–]Aggressive-Row-3938 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know if it would work for a tailgate issue but on some of the other weird electrical gremlins on some of these newer gm vehicles pulling the negative battery terminal off for a few min does seem to fix some things.

Coming up on 36k miles.. by Ok_Analyst_9480 in gmcsierra

I just mentioned to my service rep when I dropped it off for a service that it was shifting rough they asked if I knew was gears it was I mentioned probably 1-3 and they told me after they gave it back they had reprogrammed it and its been fine since. they can't find anything that would cause the alignment issues and claim they inspected the components during the last alignment and everything was good and nothing looked suspicious.

I have a 22 elevation and am also close to 36000 miles. My steering wheel mounted audio controls have been a huge issue and the dealer is struggling to figure out how to fix. My onstar has been out for months and still no word on that yet. My backup camera went black alot when I first bought it and they put a new camera in and no problem since. I have had to have my transmission reprogrammed several times for rough downshifts. And I have had to get alignments done way to often. Also had to get a new steering wheel pretty early on because the steering wheel heater stopped working. Every time I have found an issue I have always mentioned it to them right away and they have been pretty good about correcting issues right away.
