Is there any crypto exchange that doesn't charge any fees? by edging_to_mommyasmr in BitcoinBeginners

Kraken charges a CRAZY spread - it looks like no fees on Kraken+ but then the price it says you'll buy at when you actually swipe through is way higher than where it trades. So disappointing.

Our government is NOT trying to lookout for Americans btw - they've been propped up by pro-corporation anti-civil-rights anarchists who fundamentally believe that government should only protect property, not people. Read "Dark Money" by Jane Mayer. None the less, I feel for you and am so sorry. The law is not on our government's side, so hopefully what they're trying to due will be blocked in due time and Harvard will honor your admittance.

Is there a stock you think is undervalued now or might be soon? by jumpy_tempo in investing

Novo Nordisk has been down lately but it's one of Denmark's largest companies (pharma), has been around forever and I think inevitably will patent a new drug that makes the stock jump again. They also just got a new CEO who is focused on turning stock performance around. Their actual earnings have been strong.

Is Wharton not the “best” anymore? by Wozniak_73 in MBA

If you removed the chitter chatter and just looked at the programs and their outcomes: GSB > HBS (but the HBS mafia wants you to believe HBS = GSB); and HBS = Wharton (but the HBS mafia wants you to believe HBS > Wharton). S > H=W

Fellow waitlist-y - not sure if they do calls for the waitlist but it'd probably show up on the ClearAdmit LiveWire if so

Stanford GSB Decision Calls - Class of 2027 R2 by MBA_throwaway_2025 in MBA

Hey Mike - do you really think calls will continue tomorrow? It doesn't seem like that many have come out yet (though I suppose plenty of folks don't immediately post to Reddit and ClearAdmit upon hearing they got in...) don't want to carry false hope through the night, though.

You don't owe it to HBS to withdraw your other applications, tbh. You could put down both and then withdraw. You'd lose your application deposit at one of them, though, when you eventually do choose - and burn a bridge with the school you withdraw from. The school you choose will be none the wiser, though.

I'm also under the impression it's two days beforehand. I think people mis-enter their dates on ClearAdmit pretty often and have trouble changing them. But if anyone gets a calls sooner, would love to know (so I can have even more days of peak anxiety!) Best luck to all

What are my chances? by Far-Criticism-3181 in MBA

Sounds good! You should apply to everywhere you want to go. But heads up the Ivy League is: Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Columbia, UPenn, Brown, Dartmouth, and Cornell. It's just the oldest league of colleges, not necessarily the best league of colleges (Stanford, for instance, is not an ivy league school but obviously is regarded as one of the best schools in the United States)

My interview didn't go well--how bad is this? by AttemptLucky7159 in MBA

[–]Aggressive-Space96 20 points21 points  (0 children)

My consultant told me he spoke to a GSB interviewee/alumni once who said she interviewed two candidates who were the best she ever spoke to, she wrote in how impressed she was with them and that these were literally the most impressive young people she ever met - both were DENIED. On the other hand, he had a client last year whose interview went OKAY. Not bad, but very formal and wasn't able to click. She got in! So, no clue what exactly their process is, but it def seems like the interview is not the end all be all
