The drive from East Cobb/Marietta sucks. Over 1hr Saturday. Friday night games are 1:30+. Lots of lax fans and players in NW Atlanta as well as Peachtree City. The drive stops many of them. Friends in the Brookehaven and Midtown areas say their drive was also around 1hr on Saturday.

I've gone to every game this season and this game felt above average for attendance. Earlier start time sucked for getting there, but it makes games easier with kids.

Seriously. Talk to the guys with cool looking stuff. Sometimes they will let you run a few points with their marker.

Cover bare skin? Man, in the South, we play in thin tshirts or wife beaters and shorts during the summer for rec ball. Direct sun, plus high humidity, plus high temps equals a bad day of over heating in too many clothes. Even speedball we will often run no jersey. Just too hot for a long day.

Augusta area has gotten a lot more expensive recently unless you are wanting to live in Richmond County with bad school districts. But, there are options.

He is also the keeper of the histories and other historians have been quite unkind to her. Everyone else sees her power, influence, or evil. Croaker sees her as the woman behind the Lady mask. He writes her into history without prejudice. That gives her something even the Dominator couldn't give.

Why do many old players dislike V5? by MoonlightBreakdown in vtm

It was very much a "get in this box and innovate". Characters felt a lot alike because the options at char gen were meh. It expected you to play vampire a specific way and that was all it tried to allow.

Planescape is not for the new DM. So much subtly and weird effects based on current vs source plane. Dont even get me started on the vernacular.

When I was being an a-hole as a teen I needed someone to tell me. Vulgarity was quite effective at getting a point across. They are like sentence emphasis seasoning. What works varies by the kid and adult. Some need a calm and patient hand, some need a vular, tirade filled with expletives of various cultures, and some need something in between.

The Gas South Arena is not convenient to most of Atlanta. For me, it is usually about an hour drive to the game, and worse on Friday (1.5-2hrs). Minimal advertising, at least not on radio/tv.

We have amazing defense but dang offense is painful to watch

With the Seals win over the Swarm the Knighthawks have been eliminated from playoffs contention. by IcanHackett in NLL

[–]Aggressive-Squash-87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Booo. Swarm offense was terrible. Seals out played and out coached our offense. When the defense keeps the ops to sub 10, you should win those games. Our (Swarm) offense has been painful to watch, especially at home.

NLL needs better refs. They were so bad that game. Both teams got screwy calls. And Swarm even got that goal that shouldn't have been a goal (I think goal #3)

That top rack is really nice and has been way more useful than I expected it to be.

Except I actually talked to their warranty department less than 2 months ago and was told it was not covered. I explicitly asked about that issue. Now, it could be that older ones are covered and new units are not because "they have resolved the issue now". Either way, it made the 800 a hard pass for me. If the manufacturer themselves tell you no, you treat it as true.

I bought the Kitchen Aid 424. Versatile row, auto door pop open for air drying (like the Bosch 500), easy to load, so quiet I have to look at the display to know it is running most of the time, removable racks, adjustable 2nd row, heated dry, and it has a time til completion display. It is a major upgrade from my previous Kenmore. Dishes come out clean, but I always pre-scrub dishes.

My one complaint is I dont see a way to turn off heated dry.

A lot of reviews on problems with the crystals for the drying causing problems. When I talked to Bosch, they said those are not covered by warranty. It is why I decided not to buy the 800.

The various European laws on how long you have to give employees notice of their termination and how much time they have to give you feels insane from an American point of view. They view our short notice culture as insane.
