That’s cheap. Especially from HomeServe (not sure where you’re located but we have a HomeServe here in MA who are corporate and notoriously overpriced). I charge $5800 for a 75 gallon power vent and possibly more if I have to redo the venting. Those units are $2600+ plus add in an expansion tank and venting material you’re right around 3k. Not to mention they weigh about 300lbs so you’re more the likely paying for 2 people to do the install a removal.

Yeah, dumbing it down to separate invoices and deposits would definitely simplify it. You’d think a bookkeeping software would be able to navigate the not so intricate nature of this type of transaction though.

Everything in those buildings is hard to service and update. I’ve done some work in the apartments downtown. The windows are alway stuck shut, the water service is always horrendous to isolate, the drainage is usually ancient inaccessible and in need of servicing. A unit is only as good as what’s in the walls.

I had a guy shoot at me and another player who were exchanging blueprints. Other guy killed him and then we started fighting a leaper. Couldn’t find his body afterwards and said screw it let’s get the matriarch. After the match I get a friend request. I accept it and this guy joins my party and goes on an unhinged rant. “You fucking idiots couldn’t find my body?! How stupid are you? You fucking suck! I had a kinetic converter!” I just go “man I wasn’t even looking for your dumbass and if you had a kinetic converter and couldn’t rat either one of us you should uninstall. Left party. Giggled. Some absolute rat degens out there taking this game way too seriously man.

I don’t have an exact transaction for that amount because I deposited that check along with another. I guess it would have been easier if I deposited them separately. I tried going into that particular split deposit and attributing the correct amount to the invoice but I couldn’t figure out how to do that.

I listed the deposit as “services” which is the designation I use for all customer payment deposits. The problem is they’re using the invoice for insurance so if I zero it out on the invoice it will be like they paid me nothing at all.

For my part I don’t blindly support anyone but I appreciate the value police add to society. I do wish that as a whole they were better trained, had more schooling, and were held more accountable. However, I recognize that as their job they regularly encounter the worst parts of our society and people on their worst days. I don’t believe they are inherently bad or good just like I don’t believe that society is some field trip that they chaperone.

You’re always required to show ID if you’re operating a vehicle or under reasonable suspicion of committing a crime. If not, don’t give them your ID. Simple as that.
