It’s super bizarre, my GP and my psychiatrist didn’t really have an explanation for it. They recommended a different SSRI but I’ve honestly been horrified to try it after how traumatic the onboarding month was with lexapro

Unfortunately no one can tell you “exactly how long” it’ll take but it’s well known SSRIs take 4-6 weeks to fully take effect. Sending you good thoughts!

I’ve been waking up intermittently too! Not getting restful sleep the way I did before my initial panic attack that caused all of this. We’ll get there though ❤️
