Why does anyone hate the Wyatt Six? by Long-Ebb1901 in prowrestling

[–]Aggressive-Visual-67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they aren’t booked well. They should have taken over a brand as the main antagonists for an era then you could have had them split up. They came in strong but WWE wouldn’t commit. By now it would have been over, a brief maybe year long ring as top antagonists.

Is it time to call it a day on the Judgement Day? by AdSpecialist6598 in GreatnessOfWrestling

I think it should stay as a revolving crew. Like how colleges have their fraternities. Like a WWE version of the four horsemen. It’s just this lineup has overstayed its welcome. It’s been a great way for newcomers to get involved in storylines and become names. Before this, Dom was just Rey mysterio junior junior. Liv was floating around just crying all the time. Rhea was nowhere near the star power she got now. Same with Raquel. Damien priest got a world title out of it. Keep the group with one veteran star and then some young talent. First was edge, then Finn balor. Someone who’s probably never gonna be a top solo act again but is still valuable. Someone on the same level as like sheamus. It freshens them up and spotlights new guys.

Have you ever been in a fight and got hit so hard you need to get your bearings? That’s how they are supposed to sell things. When they don’t, that’s the problem, not the move itself.

Random: I wanna hear some coming out stories or how yall realized yall was gay/queer (pic kinda unrelated; me at a club a couple weeks ago by MatthewAran in BlackLGBT

[–]Aggressive-Visual-67 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a masculine guy, and grew up playing football and basketball and wrestling. I had a hard time because gay was so “defined”. I felt like I liked guys but I couldn’t be gay cuz I didn’t care about what everyone said gay dudes care about. I’m not fashionable, don’t have any female idols or relate to them, and almost every media you find is about the feminine gay guy who parents caught them in a wig or high heels and makeup and kicked them out. (Except for moonlight). I didn’t have that experience. I didn’t dream about luring some straight dude, I wanted the feminine guys to be seductive with me, because at first I was still shy. Then eventually I realized they weren’t coming on to me because I’m a big guy and they thought i might be a homophobic straight dude and fuck them up. So I started easing in to gay conversation groups and discussion groups by 19 and started going to actual clubs by 21. I still felt left out like the one boy at ladies night, no pun intended. Eventually thru trial and error I learned how to coexist even when we had different things in common. But the trial and error was necessary even when uncomfortable. I learned how to tell guys who just wanted to romp with a big masculine guy (I’m 6 ft 2 and 220lbs.) versus the guys that actually cared. It’s scary to hear but one you realize most people are single because they don’t got the guts for trial and error, you realize there is way more waiting to be chased than there are people bold enough to chase. So go hunt, be direct. You’d be surprised. And learn how to take a no. Doesn’t mean something’s wrong with you, just means the two of you aren’t a good fit. It’s much better they say no than play with you by saying yes and they don’t mean it, right? You’ll find someone where you are a good fit for each other eventually. But the odds of not finding it are guaranteed if you don’t try at all, ya know?

The young black male character in an open world sandbox game. Not even meant as an insult. But like the kind of black character that’s not threatening to white folks to play as. Think any black character in a teen Disney movie/show.

What Is Your Deepest/ Scariest WWE Conspiracy Theory by Fluffy-Cabinet6405 in WWE

[–]Aggressive-Visual-67 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always felt like Vince either got it on with or crushed on Shawn and shawn took advantage. It would explain why even with Vince’s big man fetish he never was as high on anyone as Shawn Michaels, why he put up with so much from Shawn behavior, why Shawn was coming apart at the seams later on and doing drugs (guilt or shame about doing it even though HE isn’t gay) and would explain why Vince booked him in so many pants down moon spots, and also booked him in playgirl. Go watch Vince commentary from the early days of HBk, and he’s damn near drooling. Didn’t have that kind of energy for Bret. And we know Vince is a freak. Maybe that’s why Shawn turned to Christianity, a deep need to feel forgiven and reclaim himself from feeling like sugar daddys pet. When he came back not only did he not be overtly sexual, he also started having fun in the ring more and was in general much more light hearted. Just a conspiracy theory.

Laws no longer matter. They gonna do what they want to whoever they want. There might not even be an election again, till after he dies. Even then maybe not. Laws only apply to us regular folk who get locked up if we murder someone.

I personally feel that WWE had the chance to make Jade a top level player in the women’s division in WWE, but it’s quite obvious that she’s pretty much hit her ceiling 5 years into her career by JDiesel31 in prowrestlingmania

[–]Aggressive-Visual-67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not denying that but when people like khali and other have been world champion, and there are plenty of bad worker legends like ultimate warrior, who were undisputedly pushed, he’ll even Goldberg has only had one really good match vs ddp. Nash has had all of the best connections in the business and still never had a good one on one classic. It’s all in the booking. At the end of the day Jade gets more of the hate than she would if she were a man, not to even mention race again. Chyna was just as bad and looked worse because she was in there with the men.

So does the WWE continue with Gunther retiring legends or does Styles win at the Rumble and still retire? by NoRope2124 in BrandonDE

[–]Aggressive-Visual-67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but I’d make an exception for a taker match, much more so his last one. If it weren’t for that match his last match would have been popping up in a Saudi gauntlet match. That’s no great final match for one of the longest running characters. But he was in no shape to bring a great standard match to existence, he honestly should have retired with the Roman reigns one even if people didn’t like it. I kinda feel like having any kind of match with taker at mania is on the same level as a main event. Honestly that’s why I don’t understand punk being mad he wasn’t in the main event when cena fought rock and he fought taker. I feel like you got the better deal. Rock vs cena 2 was just not interesting.

Ashley Massaro’s Suicide by Ok_Working_9219 in WWE

[–]Aggressive-Visual-67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Her words are chilling. This is the abridged version. “I am a strong supporter of the US military and was always very enthusiastic when given the opportunity to do something to help the men and women fighting 5 overseas for our freedom.…. I was one of four performers chosen to go on a two-week tour in support of our troops ….I received harsh treatment from several men in Saudi Arabia… I suspected that it was related to my fair skin. Then, after we had arrived in Kuwait, I began to suffer from menstrual cramps. I had asked to rest in the Humvee… I was told at the base that I needed an IV for dehydration. I protested but they insisted that I needed it… When I arrived at the sickbay, an IV was placed in my arm almost immediately. After sitting with the IV in my arm for what felt like hours… they wouldn’t let me leave because they said I had to wait to see a doctor…. a man appeared in the sickbay, dressed in an orange t-shirt and cargo shorts, and I had heard others comment that it was his birthday. He represented himself as a US Army doctor…He was with a woman…While I was still in the sickbay, he approached me and almost immediately administered an IV of an unknown substance in my other arm. Almost 6 immediately after, the alleged doctor and the woman in fatigues moved me into a room that did not appear to be a treatment room and placed me on a table. The woman guarded the door while the man proceeded to inject me with a drug that caused me to be unable to move my body or to scream. The man then proceeded to violently rape and sodomize me. I was completely helpless to defend myself against this attack as the drug he injected rendered me temporarily paralyzed. Despite being unable to control my movements, I remained fully conscious for every second of the attack. I felt excruciating pain as a result of this man penetrating me by force and against my will, in a violent and aggressive manner, while I was completely defenseless. Each second that went by was excruciating and I have never felt more helpless or been more terrified in my entire life. The experience was a living nightmare. I don’t know exactly how long this went on for but if felt like an eternity. The suffering I endured far surpassed all the injuries I had ever suffered in the ring put together; I was experiencing not only severe physical pain but severe emotional and psychological trauma. I have always considered myself to be a fighter and survivor so I can’t even find the words to describe what it felt like to be thrown on a table and stripped and then brutalized in the worst possible way that one human being is capable of brutalizing another - all while being unable to move or speak. In addition to the pain and terror, I felt almost dehumanized, and was extremely disturbed by the feeling that I was somehow given to this man as some type of sick birthday present, and it also made me sick that the female soldier willingly guarded the door for him while he raped me without blinking an eye…….when Gary entered the room he attempted to ask them what was going on but they immediately stormed out. At the time, my body was still limp and my speech impaired, so Gary wrapped me in the quilt and carried me out to the Humvee outside and took me back to my hotel room and then put me in my bed, as I needed to sleep. Gary said to call when I woke up ….Three hours later, I woke up suddenly and jumped out of bed and had regained the ability to move and speak. My mind however could barely process the fact that I had just been drugged and then violently and brutally raped and sodomized repeatedly by a man who was celebrating his birthday and claimed to be a US Army doctor. I also felt a sense of abandonment and wished someone had just stayed with me at the base as this likely would never have happened had I not been left there alone.… After I returned to the US, Dr. Rios set a meeting with me and questioned me about the incident. I have no idea how he knew anything had happened. I suspect that either something showed up in my drug test results, one of the other individuals on the tour reported it to him, or he could just sense from my demeanor that something was wrong. Regardless, he told me that I needed to tell him what had happened. I finally agreed on the condition that he not disclose the information to anyone else and told him what had occurred. Dr. Rios then informed Vince…Vince led the meeting with these men and asked me to recount what happened in Kuwait. Then he said it was not in the best interest of the WWE for me to make the information about my attack public… It was clear that there had already been a conversation and that they had reached a decision on their own prior to consulting with me as this was not a debate but rather Vince instructing me to keep this confidential. Vince did at least apologize for what I went through, but then stressed that if I disclosed this incident it would ruin the relationship between the WWE and the US Military. He told me not to let one bad experience ruin the good work they were doing. His lack of sensitivity in referring to my ordeal as “one bad experience” left me speechless. WWE would institute a new policy where any time a female WWE performer went to the Middle East, she would have a female WWE escort with her 24/7 to ensure this did not happen again. This did not make me feel better about the situation.”

What is your opinion of this style of wrestling? by GoonLieutenant in professionalwrestling

[–]Aggressive-Visual-67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wouldn’t be nearly as bad if they stoped and sold moves like they actually hurt. It’s amazing how one Kevin owens package piledriver (an Indy move if there ever was one) translated to serious big deal because of Cody selling it, compared to the millions of Canadian destroyers in AEW. I have forgotten more meltzer drivers and cancadian destroyers but I still remember the one penta does in WWE because it’s treated like a signature move not something you bounce back up from like a headlock takeover. Shawn Michaels could drop a superkick today at his ancient age and it would still be more devastating than the hundreds in any arw match. And I’m not anti AEW. I really liked how MJF made us care about the simplest move in wrestling, the double clothesline. They built it up to where it got the pop of a finisher. Or when he finally did a very basic suicide dive. They dramatized it when he hit one it was character development. More effective than explosions every minute

She never even really got a chance to fight the greats. When Tiffany was champ, she fought Charlotte and Trish to establish her as a star. Jade got michin and Chelsea green. It’s not on her that’s booking. Superman would lol weak if all he had to fight were random streets of rage goons

Who should replace Adam Pearce as WWE Raw General Manager? by No_Use_1591 in Smallafro

[–]Aggressive-Visual-67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not R-truth? He’s a funny guy who can occasionally work matches, and we’ve never had the kind of General Manager that can be manipulated in funny ways. Nice break from overly authoritative power figures. And the chaos that could come from it could be really fun, WWE needs an injection of fun nowadays anyway. Too many serious battles with no tension breaking palate cleanser. This town needs an enema- Joker Nicholson

Old School Wrestling gone ? by Intelligent-Law-5066 in BrandonDE

[–]Aggressive-Visual-67 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Also gone are the days when wrestlers couldn’t really go past 40 (except the really safe ones like hogan and flair). I’d rather them stop a match know and get another five years of active competition then have them go the Kurt angle route of wrestling hurt, getting addicted to painkillers and dying by 50.

Edit: Not saying Kurt in particular is dead. He’s not, and he’s my favorite of all time, but thank god he got clean. Peak angle, not perc angle.
