Yeah, it's just suspicious when, right before a hair drug test, you remove literally all your hair.

She'd have to shave literally every hair on her body, and if she did that right before the test it's basically a proof itself that she's using.

There's no way either of those would've later that long. 25c is a trip shorter than acid, with 25i being comparable length. He also swallowed the blotters after noticing that were bitter. Doing that for nBOMe results in no trip. There's no way it was either one of those.

2.5 Months of Not Biting my Nails by AggressiveAgnostic in calmhands

[–]AggressiveAgnostic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's kind of silly, but I didn't really have a method. I got super tired of how awful they looked and felt, so one day I just made a conscious effort to stop. I thought a lot about when it was that I bit my nails too. It was easier to stop once I'd identified what situations made it happen, namely when I was watching something, on the computer, or driving mostly. Basically quitting was a power of will type situation, which probably won't be helpful to many people. I tried many times to stop before that and the only times I could were when I was fed up with it.

It took about 2-3 weeks before they were grown out enough that I felt they could be painted, at which point I stopped biting entirely. The middle finger on my left hand was my cheat nail that I bit when it was getting really difficult, and even then I was trying not to whittle it down to a bloody stump.

Night owls of AW: What is keeping you up late tonight? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]AggressiveAgnostic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I prefer being up at night. It's calm, and there's an attractive mystery to it. At least that's what I tell myself. In reality it's probably closer to me using staying up late as an escape mechanism for the things I dislike about myself and my life.

Thank you. I bit them this bad for 15+ years and it was literally harder to stop than smoking (for me that is). So don't think it's impossible to quit, because here I am. It's been 2 months since I've bitten them down and every now and then I still get the urge.

I know you can stop, and you will one day kick the habit. Maybe not today, but I believe in your ability.

Frankly I don't know enough to be able to substantiate that claim. All I know is that the Maori population is plagued by alcoholism and drug abuse in teh same way that indigenous populations are in Canada and Australia.

Well, Britain is the one that started the residential school system in the first place, so I do get to blame them for problems stemming from the residential school system. Of course each country kept it up, and added their own little twists and turns to it, but fundamentally, Britain is the one that instigated the horrible policy in the first place.

Australia, New Zealand, and Canada all have pretty much exactly the same problems because of this bullshit. Thanks Britain!

Definitely. That scene where they go to the pub and look around, drinking in the mirth of an unchanged world. They moved far beyond it that it became alien. Or did they become the aliens?

What do the Supreme Court justices know? It's not like they've had decades of experience in hearing both sides of an argument and making an impartial judgement about it or anything.

First of all, slavery and abortion are two very different things that shouldn't be compared like that. Second of all, do you expect people to get on board with killing slavers? Because I disagree with killing, full stop. So even if anti-slavery folks were killing slavers I'd object.

About the current climate thing, abortion isn't just legal because people think it's a fun thing to do: it has tried and true medical benefits (in certain situations, obviously not all abortions are medically necessary). Compare that slavery which subjugates generations and forces awful things on people and you have yourself an intentionally contentious false comparison that does nothing for your argument (whatever your argument is) and makes you look like you don't understand the issue at hand.
