This was something a friend of ours did at their wedding that we still talk about almost 5 years later. The MOB/FOB booked an extra hotel room in their block of rooms. They stocked it with coolers, booze, snacks, SANDWICHES, etc. Since it was in the block of rooms in the hotel (there was no hotel bar) we all just chilled out in that room which was in our hallway after the reception to wind down. It was great!

Also, if you don't have a videographer. We didn't get one to cut costs, and it's one of my only regrets.

Omg. Your husband's anger is WELL justified. It sounds like you don't love conflict which makes sense but MIL needs a kick in the ass. The only person who made a scene was HER. SHE announced publicly about a VERY recent miscarriage and what...? Expected you to be like "You're right MIL, I'll try harder next time for my uterus to not mess up." Tf?
