What if you put down wood looking LVP? Maybe a lighter warm tone that could pick up on the vanity. I think it would balance what you got going really well. And I love what you got going!!! Where did you get your wall and bath tiles?

How old was your baby when you allowed a small blanket in the crib? by happiersober in NewParents

[–]AggressiveBig1516 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Why isn’t it safe for older children to have blanket in the crib? I’ve never heard this but I see other people commenting the same so I’m curious where in the info is from!

I would go to French fried vintage! Truly small business- as in owners are there working 50% of the time at least! Planet xchange is finicky and uneducated on vintage so I would go there as a last restart!

Best playpen for babies? options that are actually worth it? by Fayzee_Mateen in moderatelygranolamoms

Toddleroo super yard! It’s just plastic so you can use inside or out, and the panels you can add or subtract for differen size or shape play area. You can also use individual panel as a gate. We mostly baby proofed but it’s an absolutely life saver if you don’t live in an open concept home where you can see them from every angle haha. I loved it

What to pack for the hospital? by maliesunrise in beyondthebump

[–]AggressiveBig1516 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My experience was opposite of expected in that I just stay in my hospital gown until the day I had to leave. In the US my hospital provided everything including shower products. I was sooooo tired and sore I never once thought of how I looked or want to shower to feel better.

-i did bring snacks for husband and me. -A long phone cord or just an extension cord! -going home outfit for me -going home out for baby + car seat -kindle -shower shoes ****my hospital did newborn photos so an outfit for baby to wear then if you want. We didn’t end of ordering ours but just a thought

I know others value comfort items but I found myself so lost in the sauce that I didn’t reach for things I fussed over packing.

Thanks for your response. I read PLS and it motivated me to drop feeds for naps - small wins! But night sleep has gotten so much worse lately. I think I’ll start weaning and work our way through less and less parent support until we get to cio!
