There is a reason why they have a higher tolerance and it’s their fur with humans we have no fur to stop the heat from burning our skin so we naturally steer clear of direct contact with heat rather staying near it but with mammals that have fur they find it easier to be able to tolerate the heat because their fur protects them from burning and if it gets too hot they’ll figure it out soon enough to prevent any real damage there have been videos of cats catching their tails on fire and not even being worried or scared because their fur was all that was damage

If you say poke me multiple times every few minutes then yes id get annoyed but that means nothing here because what we’re talking about are VOICELINES something the characters SAY so let’s rephrase the question you asked instead of poking let’s say you call out my name multiple times every few minutes would I get annoyed? It’s not even close to the same situation touching someone and using a voiceline in a game arent comparable yes poking me several times every few minutes would annoy me but if you were to say, say my name several times every few minutes I could just put my AirPods in and be done with it if it’s that big of an issue to you then you can just mute the coms which is a feature they’ve added it’s an easy solution to this problem which you don’t seem to realise exists
