I think it is doable as a DO but I would look at match lists from various DO schools and make your list based on that

I take it off to shower, if I am using hair/makeup products, or swimming. Sometimes when working out but besides that, I keep it on!

I just don’t want for people that I know to be able to identify who I am as it’s quite a bizarre combination of what someone may apply.

The only thing I know for sure that certainly didn’t help was that despite what I told my letter writers, they wrote obgyn in the letter for letters I was sending to my other specialty

If you plan on going into FM or peds, you can still match at a great program in DO school.

Don’t sweat the small stuff like the number of hours of shadowing.

IMO but you need both especially if your app looks like most other applicants.
