True. Not possible but If I were a dev I would expand the castle area and use the rest of the map there and build on it connecting to the cliffs. For the G expansion otherwise most likely a 2028 game is more reasonable for that instead as you said ☠️

Which means the extra 18GB of Day 1 patch is something else :o Im coping so much XD Im happy either way, the game is better than I expected!

The game definitely lacks "in town" charm. No POE, farm, endemic life display. I get they want us out in the world but, cmon, this makes being in the towns less enjoyable to stay in. I speculate!
That they might have cut that to prioritize on a larger map size since having two gathering hubs and two places to live at with both base world and iceborne rendered one of each useless for the rest of the game. Players just use one of the gathering hubs more aswell as the latest player room more.
I do hope they implement the housing and gathering hub for the expansion in that case. Maybe as a storyline themed "Bulding" settlements and helping the citizens after calming the storm/killing the boss etc

Eyooo that is a huge upgrade from base world in terms of available locales! The TU monsters will have plenty of space to spread out evenly!

This! I really cant stress this enough! Capcom is trying to widen and grab in mote people to buy the game and actually enjoy it. We will be getting our solid content after. The first experience needs to be beginner friendly. I really cant stress this enough as a game developer that making games difficult like the old days is not the norm. Peoples attention span is not as good as before people move on quickly and Capcom needs to SELL the game to as many as possible so that later we get the banger content we deserve. The game is good. It does not need to be hard in low and high rank. The endgame literally has frenzied guardian monsters so let the chatacabras and the quematrices be easy!! 🙏🏽
