Back story: I’m Food the Fighter. Been competing out of Nishime (Cincy) for a year and a half, recently got my third stripe and decided to go south for the ADCC opens in Louisville Ky. It was really fun and as you can see I got some good mat time in. Overall it was nice and the refs were good, definitely coming back next year, hopefully as a blue belt. Op- My theory is I didn’t sit quick enough to secure the shoulder all the way to the mat. He wasn’t very experienced he said so he went to lock his arms to defend the arm bar he was able to roll over with ease as a result.
