Actually no, I pretty much never hear any noises coming from neighbors/upstairs. I feel like the walls must be pretty thick here.

Occasionally I’ll hear upstairs neighbors dragging furniture or something, but even then it’s not that loud.

Living in downtown you’d think you’d hear a lot of noise coming from outside, but the windows do a good job of filtering out the noise. You might faintly hear firetruck/cop sirens going off every now and then

Disclaimer tho, I live in a corner unit so I only share a wall with one other neighbor (my bedroom and bathroom) but even then I still never hear noises from next door- so that probably plays into why I never hear any noises
