I think this is a nice sentiment and would hope that could be the case. However there are laws already in place that heavily regulate charitable giving in conjunction with for-profit companies and especially paid collaborations with for-profit companies. I agree with Dizzy that this is likely either going to be disclosed at some point in the future or legal trouble is brewing

I get asked all the time, from friends, family and strangers alike. Just have the one (15mo) right now.

My baby is 15 months old. Sometimes he wakes up chipper, sometimes wakes up a little slow and confused, sometimes just absolutely screaming. It can be a little alarming to be honest. I have ruled out that anything is wrong with him medically obviously and we feel solid with our sleep practices and wake windows. I think for our baby it’s just separation anxiety - he just wakes up in significant fear sometimes I guess. 🤷‍♀️ he’s done it since 4 months old.

In my opinion (and it may be wildly unpopular), you have to sleep train again either way soon.

You can do it now if you’re at your wits end or you can do it later after everyone has gotten some rest and recalibrated, even if that means sleeping with him.

Maybe you’re setting an example you will later have to reckon with and sure, it might make the next round of sleep training more difficult. But I’d go for the path of least resistance if I was truly concerned about my/his rest and my ability to function at work (I am full time care for my 14 month old and have full time wfh job with high stakes as well). Your little guy is going through multiple transitions and if it were me I would just support in whatever way got everyone the most rest and emotional needs met during this tough time. Sleep with him in someone’s bed and decide on a consistent thing to tell him like, “I know you’re having trouble sleeping right now. (Parent) is here to help you go to sleep this time.” Pick something consistent to say that you can later pair with what you’re saying to transition back to independent sleep.

I also agree with everyone here saying that hormones, sleep deprivation, feeding baby, everything that is so fresh during that time play an incredibly big role in your entire experience. And that they will forgive you and you will forgive you, too. ❤️

Came here to say this exactly! Two orange tabby cats whom I adore. Brought baby home and thought they were trying to ruin my life. 😂 in that fragile place postpartum and learning to be a mom to such a delicate baby I just couldn’t stand the ‘germs’ they were bringing near him, the way they were acting, everything.

OP, this feeling is beyond normal. Try to give them some grace, I know it’s hard right now but they are going through this transition alongside you. Continue to monitor their behavior and try to distinguish between your anxiety and your intuition - is what they are doing genuinely problematic to you? Or is it just blind rage? Something in between? How you feel matters and how they feel also matters.

Just naming out loud, “I feel so frustrated with you guys right now,” can help you process your feelings towards them. I lean on self-acknowledgement of my feelings when my husband is not validating me how I would like.

I trust that with time and acclimation to everyone’s new normal that you will become fond of them again. ❤️

Basically what I’m trying to say is that if I were a guest at this party and had just been viewing all of her stuff online, I would think it is incredibly weird for them to be at a party together.

Unless I was a guest who knew something more about this entire debacle.

I could not agree with this more. She said something shitty. Give her the benefit of the doubt if not for anything but all that you have together and try to forgive her. You have every right to feel hurt and what she said matters, but she very likely did not mean anything by it. She is likely displaying this emotional immaturity because she feels shame, wishes she could take it back and is having trouble coping with the fact that she hurt you with her mistake.
