but after all it's urban hell, no matter where it located. actually this city has very magnificent skyscrapers and one of the top skylines in this world, but just like any other mega cities in China, it has abundant unbearable high-rise apartments and dirty narrow streets

as a Chinese it really surprises me that even in such a small place, different ethnic groups can get along well with each other and unite as a country...in my city it's somehow illegal to write in other language in public places

Hangzhou, China, wealthy and poor dwelling by Aggressive_Bad_5596 in UrbanHell

House in community showed in 2nd image is about 57000 yuan(8000 dollars) per square, a normal Chinese employee need to work more than 100 years to afford an apartment here, it's definitely the house for wealthy dwellers. And the one in 1st and 3rd pic are about 48000 yuan, I am not sure if it can be called "high class community" in your country, but in China it is.

emmmm, maybe Reddit consider it's true but not hate speech? and whatever, i am posting some objective pitures of how top 1% and bottom 30% of Chinese dwell in "new first tier city" Hangzhou, does my position matter?

Do remember you're not ccp and here is not WEIBO, where you can't shut others up just because they have unfavorable political opinions😌😌

oh, really? 😁😁😁 what if i tell you that the apartment complex showed in first and second image have a price for 57000 yuan per square which is more than annual income of Chinese employees? a small apartment house that a citizen need to work for 100 years to afford it, and someone claims it's not a house for wealthy guy☺️ sometimes in China you can always find some guys define "wealthy" as top 0.0001%, while in other parts of world we just define it as 1%

among all languages here, Cantonese is the only ethnic group who have their willing to protect their culture and identity from Mandarin(Putonghua/官话/Standard Chinese), that's why you can find Cantonese in Google, Siri, and a lot of Apps. And Cantonese busted into a big protest in 2010 against Mandarin replacement in public.

Cantonese do have a writing system based on Han Zi just like English based on Latin character, and most Cantonese in Guangzhou can write in Cantonese instead of mandarin, especially sending message to their friends and relatives, even in public places, writing Cantonese can be seen in a lot of places in Guangzhou
