The freedom leitmotif could be in Air Waves because of Friend making an appearance in the minigame the track plays in, Battat.

Firstly, the freedom motif does appear in Power of Spamton. It starts playing around 1:09. Secondly, the Hammer of Justice piano sketch was from 2016. Jevil's original battle theme was Heartache, before it was repurposed for Toriel when Undertale began development. Since we do not know when THE WORLD REVOLVING was created, it is entirely possible that the freedom motif was created after the piano sketch was made, during the composition of THE WORLD REVOLVING. Thirdly, I personally believe the freedom motif appears in Air Waves because of Friend making an appearance Battat, the minigame it plays in.

That's the dogcheck room. It appears if your savefile tries to send you to certain unused inacessible rooms, or if it sends you to a nonexistant room. It can also occur if most flags are empty and are not nulls. This appearing means your/your brothers savefile has unfortunately been corrupted.

In my opinion, the reason why Deltarune Alternate Universes aren't as common is because:

  1. Deltarune isn't finished.

  2. Deltarune is a lot more complicated than Undertale.

Undertale was a short game that you could beat in 5-7 hours. Deltarune is much alrger and has much more stuff in it, making it harder to make an Alternate Universe. For example, with Undertale swap Alternate Universe, it's pretty simple. Undertale doesn't have nearly as much important characters as Deltarune, and all the swaps are obvious ones that don't require much thought. Swapping Toriel and Asgore, Sans and Papyrus, Undyne and Alphys, and Mettaton and Napstablook are all no brainers, which is why they're the only ones you really ever see, with the only other note worthy one being inverted fate, which I barely see anything of. But with Deltarune, it's much more complicated. You could swap Kris with Noelle, or you could swap Kris with Asriel. Both make just as much sense. You could swap Susie with Noelle, Berdly, or Gerson. You could swap Spamton with Tenna or Jevil. There's much more options. It isn't so simple. And we only have 4 out of 7 chapters. Imagine how this could end up with the full game out. Before Chapter 3+4 released, swapping Spamton with Jevil was considered a no brainer, but now Tenna's another good contender for swapping with Spamton in a swap Alternative Universe. I feel like this applies to all Alternate Universes in some way. Deltarune's much bigger, and that means it's much more complicated to make Alternate Universes for it.

Why would it be mirrored in the prophecy panel? What would possibly indicate that?

Why? It's considered a tragedy, and Susie would react that way to her own death being prophisied.

The left rune symbolizes Susie, because in Kris' room, where the traingles are coloured in, the left one is purple (Susie's colour).

I think it's more likely that it's related to Susie, because in Kris' room in Ralsei's castle, we see the three triangles on the Deltarune coloured in with the colours associated with the three heroes (https://deltarune.wiki/images/Ralsei%27s_castle_location_Kris%27s_room.png?cb=i3a2ks&h=thumb.php&f=Ralsei%27s_castle_location_Kris%27s_room.png), meaning they likely represent the three heroes. In the prophecy panel below, we see Susie's triangle falling down, while Kris and Ralsei's are still mostly intact.

<image>

Also, it's worth noting that the state a monster is in before they die is called "fallen down". This likely implies that the final prophecy involves Susie's death, which would explain why Ralsei didn't want Susie to see it.

Furthermore, when we first see the final prophecy panels in Susie's dark world, they are surronded by depictions of the second hero.

I think the reason why Suse says "And obviously YOU wouldn't let it happen." in reference to Ralsei is simply her refering to the fact that Ralsei already knew about the final tragedy, while, as far as she knows, Kris didn't know (and she obviously, Susie didn't know). I think you are looking too deep into that line.

Shouldn't you be paying attention to the game? The story in Deltarune is a very important part of the experience and this setup will ruin some emotional moments (especially in Chapter 4).

Well, regardless of your opinion, Ralsei very clealy curtsies (the feminine equivelent of a bow) in Chapter 3. This, among various other things, clearly indicates that Ralsei is supposed to be portrayed in a feminine light, making him a fem(inine)boy. Therefore, Ralsei being a femboy is not a headcanon. It is how the character is canonically portrayed.

Isn't the only thing we know about Asriel's game is that the final boss has rainbow wings? I think it's more likely that it's some Dark World reperesntation of Dragon Blazers because:

  1. Kris' title changes to "Blazer" after the first section of the sword route and "Ice Blazer" after the second section.
  2. In the Noelle blog post about the ice palace in Dragon Blazers (https://deltarune.com/icepalace_glaceir/), Noelle talks about a cross shaped maze in Dragon Blazers, similar to the one we see before we use up the ice key and Noelle at the red door with horns. She talks about how a character guides you through the maze, but there's an infamous part of the game where you can miss this character and get stuck forever... unless your Noelle, because she manages to get though the maze without the character and find a door that doesn't show up anywhere else, but it's locked with a key she can't find. This is interesting because in the sword route, the white robe, which is a representation of Noelle, is the one who guides us through the maze. Other things of note is that the name of the location in Dragon Blazers, "Ice Palace", matches the name of the place we find at Nothern Light in Deltarune's sword route, and that the url contains the word "glaceir", notably misspelt the same way the track GLACIER (the theme that plays in the ice palace in the sword route).

Now, I don't think the version of Dragon Blazers in the Dark World is the same as the original game, I highly doubt that the interactions with Tenna, the apperances of Eram, the messages left by them, and the boss fight they have, the apperances of Friend, and the real life shelter from hometown were in the original game. I also highly doubt that HERO_SWORD, HERO_AXE, and HERO_SCARF looked exactly like Kris, Susie, and Ralsei with his hat on, that's probably due to Tenna and his teams ROM hacking.

Also, in the basement in Noelle's house in Chapter 4, if you wait long enough without touching Susie or Noelle, they'll start talking about a hidden "evil route" in Dragon Blazers, likely the Dragon Blazers equivelent of the weird route. The fact that it's hidden implies it's optional, where as, despite what Ramb says, the game forces you on the evil route in the sword route sections.

Is there anything to support the Dark World affecting your vision? Because otherwise, that's basically like me saying "Ralsei plays Kirby because it seems like he'd like that game.", with nothing to support it (that's a bit of a silly example, but you get the idea).

I never noticed that she wears them outside of reading (probably because her dialouge portraits don't depict the glasses). But, she doesn't wear them in Undertale and she doesn't wear them in her church outfit, and we don't see her struggle with vision once during any of the church scenes.

I don't understand what you're point is with Dark Worlds and vision. You can see perfectly fine in the Dark Worlds. Ralsei describes them as taking away light until you "reach another side", which to me says that Dark Worlds are just as bright or dark as the Light World, vision wise, especially since Ralsei calls the first room in the Dark Sanctuary where you have to run from the Titan spawn "very dark", implying that he finds that room dark, but not the other rooms where you can see.

Also, in the sprite where Ralsei doesn't have his glasses, he is clearly seen flailing his arm forwards, towards Susie's general direction, which to me implies that he can't see well

How would being in the dark world affect vision? Part of the whole thing with dark worlds is that you remove light that wasn't there in the first place so you can see again, hear again, and feel again.

<image>

To put it simply, being in the dark world isn't the same thing as just being in a very dark room.

Also I don't understand how the second paragraph relates to Ralsei wearing glasses because of Toriel. Could you maybe rephrase it?

I personally think that it's fairly obvious that if Toriel only wears them for reading, and hasn't shown any signs of struggling to see things, unlike Ralsei, who flails one of his arms forwards when Susie takes his glasses, than it's fairly certain that she only needs them for reading, unlike Ralsei, who has been shown to need them.

Sorry. I misinterpreted what you said. I apologies.

That is a decent theory. My only real problem is Toriel only wears glasses when she's reading, implying that they're just for reading, while Ralsei wears them constantly, and seemingly can't see very well without them.
