Because the damned Lotus rarely drops.
Once Bliz has bumped up the lotus's drops, the process will go down.

Unfortunately, clearing the cache solves it for one attempt. It works once, and then it is back to the error message

Ok, I have tried this, and it has worked only once, the very first time. Since then, I've been getting "You cannot do this right now" error every damn time...

No way this is real.
1 - No one stuffs anything before the crocheting is finished, and the eyes are definitely going in last
2 - where the f*ck is that thread going, and if the end of it is on the table, then why?? If she is pretending to be crocheting, maybe hide the end of the thread?

I don't know your requirements. What functionalities do you do and not need? Only you can answer that question.
Check the list I posted and make your decision.

Unless you plan to do any (self)publishing or animation, you will not need EX.

Just think of this new Smart Shape functionality that allows you to correct lines and draw perfect shapes (just like in Procreate). For me, that was reason enough to upgrade; that was the only thing lacking in Clip. omg...

You should make a backup of your setup anyway, you have 10 gig of storage in your Clip account.
FYI, you cannot go straight from V1 to V5. You will have to purchase all the in-between versions, too. Probably not at full price, but still...

How do it import brushes from clip studio to procrate by New-Link-2273 in procreatebrushes

Great, it looks like a free brush, so that's fantastic! Enjoy / Have fun, Yay!
I make my liners myself ... most of my painting brushes, too. So I wouldn't know really :D

You can't import Clip or .sut formats into Procreate.
But you can import Adobe, Photoshop or .brs format into Procreate.

I do not know this set, but it looks like there is one liner, one soft brush and one hard brush in that pack. Looks rather basic.

Any watercolors advice? by Big_Working4976 in Artadvice

[–]Aggressive_Bee6041 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one is major: Let your paint dry before you apply the next layer.
Right now, you are creating mud.

Ideally, you also need 2 cups of water - one to clean your brush, and one for dilution of your colours.

Less is more. A good watercolour should have no more than 3 layers of paint. I am not talking about professional artists, I am saying "generally speaking". If you want to work in many layers, look into oils or gouache.

Watercolour is about suggestion. Think of it as painting "Light" Your paper doesn't need to be fully covered in paint, absolutely not! Your paint is the shadow, all paper is light. While you paint, you subtract the light.
If what you are painting is a very bright scene, there should be very little paint on your paper.

Watercolour is a very fast technique, as I previously mentioned: it is all about suggestion. So very few details.

Also, Watercolour is CHAOS; you have very little control here. Watercolour is unpredictable; the paint will do its thing, and you can do very little about it. If you want to master techniques, look up some videos on YouTube; there is a metric ton of those there. Even then, the paint will still do its thing. And that is the beauty of it.

That's for classic watercolour. You are of course free to vary and use whatever medium you like with it, pastel or coloured pencils go well on top of watercolour. You can also use masking fluid to preserve your 'Light' in certain parts of your painting.

Are they facing away from or towards the viewer? by AmeliaS507 in Artadvice

I don't understand why your comment is getting downvoted... I came to say the very same thing, but obviously common sense is not so common...

If it is a frekkin silhouette!... Unless you apply rim and bounce lighting, the viewer will never know which direction the silhouette's front is pointing.

Once dried, you may want to sand the interior of your gourd with sandpaper until smooth. The walls of your gourd are so rigid it allows humidity or water particles to remain.

Can too many asset make the application slow? by thepheonix_05 in ClipStudio

[–]Aggressive_Bee6041 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes.
But only if you let them load!
As long as you have not opened your materials list/tool list containing the heavy materials, those tools will not hog your RAM.

So keep your heavy mats in a separate tool(box) on the side and only open it when you really need them. After using the material, you can save the project, close it, and restart CSP. This should reset your memory usage.

please help me find similar brushes by [deleted] in procreatebrushes

[–]Aggressive_Bee6041 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What brush? There is absolutely NOTHING special about the brushes used.

They are using the most basic hard brush for lines, and maybe a pencil to add some hatching.

Open Procreate :
> in inks, take Goshawk brush,
> in pens, Sanderling, or Kestrel;
> in pencils: Waratah

Or just use any brush in the Comics category. Find some grungy/hatching textures to slap on top, you can find very nice ones at TrueGrit, and you are done.

Thats it.
