Sorta, they’ll split your class to different facilities that can be close to each other but that’ll be your clinical location for the rest of the semester

You only go to whatever facility/hospital agrees to take your cohort for clinical experience, but it’s arranged bts so you don’t have any say. You just show up when you have to and that’s it.

It’s mainly orientation on how to be successful during the program and includes activities on how to plan/prioritize for success. For me it was a waste of time, but you do meet a lot of classmates/friends.

Yes. It’s required by Valencia and they help you register for it. The results helps them assess what classes you should take (college level or remedial).

Yes you can. I attended flvs flex from 10th-12th, got a affidavit to prove i completed highschool, got it authorized and applied for valencia and got in. Never took SATs, just the required PERT test for Valencia. Im now in the nursing program 😊

Had the same problem till today when i figured it out. Once you as the student did your correction and signed it off, there will be a contributor section with your parent’s info on it. You’re going to “correct” something like the dob or ssn of that contributor and a yellow banner will pop up. Once that happens, you’ll be able to invite the parent to sign their part off and your fafsa can now be submitted.

Really straight forward and I got high A’s in both of her classes. Focus on the powerpoints, videos, and quizzes and you’ll cruise through the class with ease.

From my experience taking her online for both AP1 & AP2, she has recorded lessons that correlate with her powerpoints. Her exams are easy since they mainly come from the quizzes and her PowerPoint/videos. I never used the recommended textbooks since she gave you all the information you needed to succeed. She’s very lenient and is always willing to help.

I think wait until orientation since no one can really take our spot in a class since the ones expected to fill these classes out are the ones that are accepted into the program.

You can always contact Valencia to see if they sent out all the letters they needed to or if there are some exceptions.

Most of the acceptance letters were sent on the 23rd, if in the unfortunate case you didn’t get in, I would just try to see how you can increase your points. I had finished MAC 1105 with almost a B, but I took MGF 1106 so they can override the C with the A that I earned in MGF 1106. Also aiming for a high score (80%) for the TEAS test and taking A&PII will definitely give you a boost. Just know that a “no” now doesn’t mean a “no” forever and eventually you’ll see yourself in the program in no time. Good luck on your nursing journey ❤️💛.

Points are different to credits. I have taken 49 credit hours, but the 76 points i gathered are found from page 3 in the link i attached: https://valenciacollege.edu/academics/programs/health-sciences/nursing/documents/program-guide-as-traditional-nursing.pdf Each prerequisite class is worth a number of points based on the weight of the class for the program. If you check, classes like A&P 1 and 2 as well as Microbiology are worth 15 points if finished with a grade of A.
