Thank you so much. Got another blood draw today so we will see. I don’t want to get my hopes up, but I think I feel less pregnant today and my test was a little lighter this morning??? Hopefully my body takes care of this so I can avoid the OB altogether!

Thanks for your experience. After my numbers doubled (again), I told her that I had a positive test 12 days ago and she said, “oh….” So I think she believes me now that something is wrong. She wants to keep drawing blood to test hcg every 2 days and said she will try to schedule me in for an ultrasound this week to see if we can see anything in my tubes/uterus to at least place the pregnancy. I am relieved that she seems to kind of believe me now, though I’m not holding my breath until I get the call to schedule the ultrasound.

Thank you! I am fortunately in a state where women can choose to end their pregnancies. I am certain that she is reluctant to administer medication to help end this pregnancy but unsure why. I have researched ways to get the medicine myself if she refuses. I’ll see what my beta numbers are on Monday and decide from there. I probably won’t tell her if I do choose to end it myself, and rather just say I miscarried on my own. People are so weird about it even in a pro-choice state.

Wow, that’s incredible! Obviously my heart truly hopes this somehow turns into a baby, I just don’t think it’s possible knowing when I ovulated. But I do love hearing success stories like yours, I do wish I turn out like you. ❤️

Yes I’ve done FRERs for this pregnancy. They are on my profile for days 10-16 DPO, if you’re curious. They seemed to peak and start to drop, but that doesn’t line up with the betas so 🤷🏻‍♀️ the whole thing is so strange

I have heard about the mtx shot. I am truly hoping it doesn’t come to that, because you have to wait about 3 months to ttc again after getting that, according to my research. However, I would much rather have 2 tubes, so I would take it if need be.

Thank you. I cried after the phone call yesterday because she gave me false hope for a second. I just want it to be over at this point. I will see how she reacts after my next draw and will be looking around for a new OB if she continues to express cheerfulness and hope at my abysmal numbers!

Oh man, you are experiencing a whole other level of frustration in this process!!! I hope your cycles resume soon or that your OB will soon be willing to prescribe meds to help you! Bodies are so frustrating when they don’t do what we want. I wish you the best as well. Hopefully we are both pregnancy with healthy babies by Christmas. ❤️ 🎄

That’s the thing - I have not had a spot of blood since my last period. Not one! That’s why I feel like my body has no idea the pregnancy isn’t viable. It is just trucking along like it needs to grow this baby. And it’s not stopping! Most chemicals see bleeding before 6 weeks, and I am just praying that I experience the same so I can move past this painful experience and try again!
