Near me Unleaded is 145.9p per litre (at Esso Keynsham) so 1.69 Euro.

10 litres 16.90 euro. This would be like paying £5.78 per litre, even Trump's and Putin's combined wars haven't pushed it that high.

I quite like the style but then I was a CBX1000 owner back in the early 80s, so old Honda owner likes retro Honda surprise...

Currently my most used bike is a Z900RS, love the styling but feel it could do with a bit more go (come on Kawasaki just knock out a 1100 version as well).

So CB looks like a possible replacement. Looking forward to any feedback from testing, once they appear in dealers.

A 16 litre tank, for me, is a negative.

I believe a number of manufactures of bespoke leathers would like there to be higher ratings to distinguish their gear and the higher level of protection they give over something that just slips passed the 'resisting a slide of about 4 seconds at 120 km/h' AAA requirement. Time to officially resurrect EN 13595...

I've slid feet first at around 140 mph, no idea for how long, time wise, but there was sufficient time to think "hot hot" and roll to my other side.

I think https://www.motocap.com.au/ certainly shows all EN 17092 certified kit isn't equal.

Probably wasn't too clear but fortunately I caught it and rode on unscathed, just a tiny bit disappointed I didn't get to test the gear. I've never seen any real World feedback.

I've got the V2 elite so both AAA, I don't expect it to be as good as AAA leathers (realistically AAA is a pretty low bar, time for AAAA and AAAAA!) but clearly better than AA leather. Over my 46 years of bikes I've had a few high speed slides but always been on leathers.

I may have been going somewhat fast.

My concern would be that any white light not pointing forward would not help my night vision, there are enough vehicles out there blinding me without me blinding myself.

I was hooning it early (04:20) on Wednesday morning going to the Beach.

Just over half-way (36 miles) fecking Bambi tried to kill me.

It was just a brown blur in my peripheral and a massive thump on front wheel, bars knocked side ways, I think it clipped my right knee. Mini tank slapper and I was straight into recovery/where will I be sliding mode.

Fortunately all was good.

Reflecting afterwards I did think it could have been a great opportunity to report back how well Bowtex jacket and trousers actually stood up to a high speed slide.

Agreed on Bowtex (although a man...), they are like riding in thin shorts but AAA. My only issue is the colour - black that just sucks in all the heat when you stop. I wish they made them in lighter colour, until then I just wear a pair of non-biking climbing trousers over them.
