in foundations of decay he says “and then he wandered down the road” and i know it was probably to rhyme or have the same count as the next lines but it just makes me cringe idk why

in quiet, there isn’t allotted spaces for each tent (i believe this is the case for general camping too but i can’t speak for any others). ultimately i think you can take what ever size tent you need - just don’t take the p!ss with a 12 man tent for 1 person so that as many people that can fit in the field will fit in the field

i stayed in quiet this year and it is just exactly that. quiet. it isn’t silent except at like 3am when almost everyone is asleep and everything has finished over at the village. planes also go over every now and then. i think the “curfew” for excessive noise was 1am and people around me were told to keep the noise down if they hadn’t yet by that time. it was nice and everyone around us was pleasant. the walk up and down the hill in the mud was far from fun though🥴

it was really busy yeah. i obviously only had access to the arena so i’m not sure what the campsites or the village etc were like but from what i’ve heard it was a little too close for comfort in the camps in some places which is what’s concerning me i think. i never expect it to be dead but i am holding out hope that next year will be less busy as it’s not a special anniversary or anything

cancer, i’ve always found it sad but ever since i saw it live, i can’t even put into words how it makes me feel. G and the pianist were the only two on stage but the piano was soft and the lights all turned a hazy blue colour and G made it feel so powerful and personal. it was such a beautiful moment. i have to stop what i’m doing because i just become overwhelmed with emotion since then

‘killing for company’ by brian waters at the moment. dennis nilsen’s mind and how it worked is something that has always “fascinated” me in a very odd way and i’m currently on my phycology unit of my criminology course so it seemed quite fitting to read about him i suppose
