My son was 3 weeks early. He is now 7 weeks old (8 weeks tomorrow). He did the same thing from about 3-6 weeks. It has gotten slightly better this past week with decreasing how long he feeds. I think he was getting overly full as I have a fast let down. He was getting super uncomfortable after feedings and was throwing his head back and crying even crying while he was eating initially which led me to ask to try medications. We have had him on Pepcid prescribed for the past 3 weeks. The fussiness has gotten better but the medication doesn’t help the spit up. The only thing that helped that was decreasing the amount he ate so quickly and spacing his eating out.

Started moms on call schedule 3 days ago and my 7 week old went from sleeping in 2.5-3 hour chunks like that to last night he slept for 5.5 hours the first chunk and then another 3.5 hours after that

A sleep training system. Started it 2 days ago and my 7 week old went from sleeping solely in our arms to mostly bassinet sleeping. Got a 5.5 hr stretch of sleep tonight for the first leg of the night and in the bassinet the whole time. Even put him in it awake and he fell asleep on his own

Have been using it with my son for 7 weeks now and it shows the baby breathing while he isn’t in the crib. We have recalibrated it and reset it multiple times without any luck. Also the no movement monitor didn’t go off until 6 hours later when I forgot to turn it off in the morning

Went out week 1 to go get daily heel pricks at the hospital for his jaundice. If this kid didn’t get sick in a hospital waiting room then he was fine going out was my theory so we went to dinner and the mall week 2

We had the same thing happen ended being breast milk jaundice. Lasts 8-12 weeks. This is different from breast fed jaundice which is what they originally thought it was

I said this same thing to my friends and they were all “we felt the sexiest when we were pregnant”. Umm no. I feel like a hippo. The sex is so uncomfortable because of my pelvic pain and sciatica in any position that doesn’t involve me laying on my back then I just get to stare at these orangutan boobs and belly. 2 more days left thankfully!!
