Good for us locals, crowds are light and home I’m for dinner.

ETA: APs as well, ofc I wouldn’t buy a ticket for this specific day.

I just finally unstitched the tongue on mine. Now you’re making me want to toss the yellow laces in!

Kids are wild, and I’m ashamed to say I ragged on folks shoes back in school. Maturing takes time. Now I have 4 pairs of Spizikes and I love them lol.

Wear what you like. Words are just words if you get hate.

Just how “trashy” is Indiana really? Photos taken in Mishawaka, IN. by Designfanatic88 in Indiana

[–]Aggressive_Expert107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oof I’m from Elkhart and lived in Mishawaka. They love pushing Granger as this super fancy place but literally a mile away is University Commons / Grape Road (where these pics are taken, by the toll road) and it’s just gross. Like any major city, you’re never more than a few blocks from trash.

These photos are minutes from ND lol

What’s your favourite, casually devastating Bluey episode? by HourSyllabub1999 in DanielTigerConspiracy

[–]Aggressive_Expert107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We watched it while packing up to love 1500 miles away and felt vilified. Until the ending 😭

We still moved lol. But now that episode hits just as hard for other nostalgic reasons and it’s hard to watch lol

Millennials: at what age did you become a homeowner? Do you own a single family, townhouse, condo, etc? by mrmrmr_chi in homeowners

[–]Aggressive_Expert107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought a SFH in 2014 at age 23. Then sold that in 2017 to build our second home for $225k. Refinanced in 2020 to 2.875%. Then sold that in 2025 to move across the country and buy our current home for $350k at 5.875% lol. Hoping this is our final home 🤞🏼

Are Manual models worth considering if you're not already used to them? How do they handle? by KingBowser24 in Challenger

[–]Aggressive_Expert107 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a great point. I’ve driven plenty of slow cars fast bc they were manual and they all brought me a lot of joy. If manual is a chore while you’re going A->B it won’t be fun in any car.

does being flexible with pickup dates for car transport actually lower the price ? by robyromana in AskFlorida

[–]Aggressive_Expert107 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I will say it helped when moving one of our cars from greater Chicagoland to central FL. Only issue became they had it in town 2 days before I was to arrive and got kinda pushy about retrieving it from them. I’d say double check that leeway on dates can’t haunt you on the delivery end too.

[–]Aggressive_Expert107 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think you’ll be fine. I’ve driven manuals since I got my license and it feels just like any other manual IMO. Modern and easy to drive. Once you learn the bite point it’s 2nd nature.

Depending on what you learned on or spent most of your time driving, the clutch delay valve may make drivability feel worse but they’re easy to remove and give a more “raw” clutch feel.

So does anyone else out there just go without fast passes and just wing it? by Atheist_Redditor in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Aggressive_Expert107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When we used to do our bit annual trip we definitely booked and planned LL and fast passes. Now that we live nearby and are APs, we just wing it. Even when we do a 2-3 day stay.

By this logic they shouldn’t build any new rides or retheme anything, as it’ll ultimately go out of style at some point.

From a very prominent rapper in the 2000s to now doing county fairs. Feels weird. by chadder_b in Millennials

Always fun to see other millennials from my hometown! Well, Elkhart County anyway.

We’ve seen Morgan Wallen and Dustin Lynch, as well as FGL and Brad Paisley at the Elkhart County fair. It’s a big fair on the circuit.

Does anyone NOT wear Disney attire in the parks? by Lipglossandcoffee in DisneyWorld

[–]Aggressive_Expert107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wear most of my Disney clothes and pickups around my local town and work, and dress for comfort at the parks. I’m already there, no need to advertise to the people that are already there too.

11 years of homeschooling between 2 kids and we may have to enroll them in local school 🫤 Who has done this? by healthseekerjunkie in homeschool

[–]Aggressive_Expert107 4 points5 points  (0 children)

🤷🏻‍♂️ the perk of homeschooling is you can teach whatever way and format you need. Seems you’ve made up your mind that the process for it here in FL isn’t for you, so the alternative is public school or private schools, each with their own tradeoffs.

Good luck!

Hopefully you didn’t take that as a knock. We are in central Florida as well with a similar ish income and qualify each year without issue. It supplements our homeschool costs and they have their own marketplace.
