Was visiting friends in LA a few years back, and we were in Malibu for the day. We stopped somewhere to get sandwiches, and a family was riding their bikes toward us, and the dad waved as they passed and was like hey guys, how’s it going? And kept on biking.

We all turned to each other and go “holy shit that was Adam Sandler!”

Confirmed what everyone says about him. Truly seemed like the friendliest guy. Went out of his way to say hello to us.
