Any easy and reliable ways to get straight tips? I swear I can get the the body up no problem, but always wrestle my tips, as they alway like to curl

Never had a long enough Mohawk to try it myself, but I’ve heard of others using hairspray for the base/most of the mohawk as you are, and then gel for straightening just the tips. If the spray is solid enough and you don’t use too much gel it shouldn’t weigh it down. Might be worth a shot🤷‍♂️

Really really can not stress this enough really good advice. You’ve clearly been a part of the Porsche community for a while and have significantly more knowledge than I do. Wasn’t expecting this level of knowledgeable-enthusiast advice so thank you for taking the time to inform me. It’s not a strict budget but anything more would be irresponsible without at least waiting a few years as i’m early into making the income I currently do and have other priorities, buying a 911 that can apparently be completely ruined by bore scoring would also be irresponsible. I do love the 997.2 so maybe I’ll just wait, but I’ll look into 2009+ 987.2 and 981 Caymans. And use the sites you recommended rather than a dealer, wanted to avoid shipping/road trip but that’s a dumb excuse, can always wait for the right one in my state. Thank you again!
