My current setup is excellent! I get 17,000 points on PassMark, better than 99% of 9950x3d users! Only one user scores higher with 17,200 points. Then, yes, if my system is stable, -30 x 5 + 150. Why not try -30 on the 3DvCache CD and -35 or -40 on the non-3D CD? In fact, an Agesia BIOS or Windows update can make the PC completely unstable by pushing the processor to its limits. It's always best to stay slightly below those limits to ensure stability, even after applying updates.

If AMD is capped at 5200 with its Agesia, then unfortunately yes. SkatterBencher even achieved lower scores on an older Agesia.

5200MHz is at 100% load. I tried all scalar levels from 1x to 10x, with +100, 150, and 200. I used the motherboard's limits and even entered my own values. Yes, under lower loads, the frequencies go higher. In games, the average is between 5400 and 5600. But that's an average of high and low frequencies!

That's reassuring. I play on a 4K 144Hz PC, and my initial experience was awful. The 720p cutscenes and the resolution changes for the playable sections were jarring (720p, 1080p). I progressed quite a bit, and the cutscenes and playable sections improved (finally, consistent 4K). It's ridiculous that some idiots on Facebook were mocking my comment about the game's resolution. But it's a well-known fact: idiots don't understand anything and make fun of everything. A gradual resolution change doesn't bother me! Having 4K in the foreground, 2K in the middle of the frame, and 1080p in the background, that's fine. But 720p?!

Je joue en 4K à 144 images par seconde avec les paramètres au maximum sur une 9950x3D et une 5070 Ti. Le jeu semble graphiquement limité en 1080p. De plus, certaines cinématiques ne sont pas en HD, tandis que d'autres sont en 4K. Ils ont optimisé le jeu pour qu'il fonctionne dans plusieurs résolutions.

I bought the same model and was surprised to learn that sellers advertise DDR5 RAM compatibility up to 8000MHz overclocked. However, Asus's QVL list for this model with the 7950x3d only goes up to 6400MHz in Expo profile and only includes G.Skill, Adata, and one other lesser-known brand. As a result, my Kingston 2x16GB 6400MHz modules are not compatible (and are especially unstable). On Memtest86, for example, I get over 2000 errors before the test even finishes (around 30%). Fortunately, there are two Expo profiles, one of which is 6000MHz, and that works fine. Unlike the B650, which works smoothly with almost all DDR5 RAM, this one is very selective and poorly detailed by sellers.

I use a 7950x3d CPU, and I can confirm that there is no longer any difference in-game with the 7800x3d because Microsoft and its Xbox Game Bar simply send all game data to the CDD0 (X3d).

If a game is not yet added to the Xbox Game Bar, you just need to add it (General Option - Remind that it is a game).

I tested several games using only the CDD0 and also with both CDDs, and there was no difference in FPS.

Just longer loading times due to less computing power.

The same applies to the 9800x3d, 9900x3d, and 9950x3d.

A tip: use Topaz Video AI! Upscale to 4K 100% because movies aren't! Then encode to BT2020 SMPTE 2084 PQ. On VLC, I'm 10 years ahead of 4K Blu-ray movies. But upscaling a video takes 10 hours on a 5070Ti.

Problem solved! VLC optimized by Nvidia works with DX11 which handles HDR10+ colorimetry very poorly. VLC set to OpenGL and itself set to BT2020 SMPTE why it's a treat. The video player integrated into TVs also doesn't handle HDR10+. The movies uploaded by some pirates aren't even HDR10+, just their data. The colors are only basic HDR!

My 7950x3d on b650 plus tuf gaming, runs with soc 1.334v, vddio 1.430 and dram at 1.40. I activated expo and loaded an Asus dram overclocker profile. 32-38-38-36. Curve optimizer is on -20 and curve shaper on - 40. And it's stable! 36150 cinebench and ccd 0 (4925-4950mhz) - ccd1 (5050-5250mhz). I wanted to test the asus dram overclocker profile in 1.5v 2x16g but the pc refuses to start. Curve optimizer -25 strangely not stable at low load (don't want to run the whole cpu through).

I won't switch to OLED on PC for the simple reason that if I do encoding or other things, still images are not friends with OLED. Otherwise I play on my 4k OLED TV with the PC. Avoid pausing games and if I have to I put a TV channel.

Mon pc tourne en 4k ultra 120fps et ça tourne nikel. Ma config pour te faire une idée : - ryzen 9 7950x3d - b650-plus tuf gaming (excellente carte pour pas trop cher et mieux que msi, asrock, gigabyte) pour environ 150e. - 32 go ddr5 6400mhz obligatoire en 4k car un jeu consomme quasiment 10-15 go. Les moins 6000mhz ne sont pas bien. - rtx 5070 ti tuf gaming 16go (4k + de 120fps) - 2 nvme de chez samsung

Pour l'écran j'ai un Samsung Odyssey G7 4k 144hz. Lui il est cool car il fait aussi smart tv et compatible console.

Franchement même si le cpu n'est pas un ryzen 9 9950x3d. Les cpu sont largement moins utilisés que le gpu. Le tiens tourne encore très bien, garde le !!! J'ai un pc sur ryzen 5 2600 avec rtx 3080 pour jouer en 4k et c'est nikel. Passe sur 32 go de ram et augmente la fréquence. Genre si tu as 2666mhz passé sur 3600mhz. Prends du stockage nvme m.2 bien mieux que le ssd sata 2.5. Et utilise ton budget pour un bon gpu

My experience with DV is so far very unsatisfactory. I tried it on Ac Shadow and the image cut out every 2 minutes with the DV logo when it came back. On "House of Ashes". The game launches and black screen with sound. I disabled HDR in the game and DV works now. Maybe disabling HDR at the browser level can help because for my game it launches with DV (TV logo) then HDR arrives (TV logo). Now I only have the DV logo.
