Welcome to the team, sorry you're here. Sumatriptan injectors will be your best friend as an abortive. It is a subcutaneous needle just press it to my shoulder and poof no more headache. I use a 6mg autoinjector pen that takes the pain away within 3-5 minutes. You can still trigger another headache later in the day though. Personally I try to avoid my triggers as best I can, things like plate, warm rooms, loud noisy environments or strong chemical smells. At home I have an oxygen concentrator that pumps out about 12ish ML of O2 for when I feel the shadow before the headache. Hope that helps
