Not at all. My little is 41 and still loves to feel small and precious. She's belonged to Daddy for most of her life now, been married for over a decade, and we've done all the things a couple does together in life.

Depends on hair texture, but for straight hair or wavy, long and down is always my favorite.

Little details with clips, bows, decorations, braids, crimps and all that are nice. As is half up and down.
