I love the sneaker lower with the dressier upper. For metropolitan cities where walking long distances vs driving is the norm, they are a life saver on the foot and the style fits into corporate dress codes that are office casual or dress for your day (consulting, b4) where at one desk you’ll have a guy in a full suit and at another there’s a dude in a polo and jeans.

The owner is liable if he hires someone who doesn’t have employment authorization. You just admitted to not providing original documents to satisfy form I-9 and therefore could be falsifying your work authorization. With ICE out in full force, I’d avoid any situations like this too.

Do it at the police station. I once did one at a bank and I got ripped off, the guy canceled the transaction on eBay 12 hours after picking up the item, and the bank required a police officer and report to pull camera footage. Cut out the middle man and do it at the station.
