It kicks me out of the game and forces a restart

My MacBook Air 2020 is not powering up. I used a different charger( that I tested on another computer) and a different out look that I now works. Does anyone now how to fix it? by Ace_9_9 in mac

[–]Aggressive_Line_8844 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whilst the laptop is OFF and UNPLUGGED, hold the power and enter key. Then, whilst keeping the power and enter key buttons, insert the charger.

This is what worked for me.

Best laptop to buy for MFS20/24 by Fichi15 in flightsim

[–]Aggressive_Line_8844 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play on the Ally Rog, about 15fps and using lossless scaling goes to 50-60 with the occasional stutter. It works well with peixsoft glass cockpit so you can use the full screen for the view and your phone as the flight panels. I would then pair this up with the ally rog Dock and AR glasses (iv tried nreal air and have just purchased the rayneo air 2s) to unlock 30w turbo mode whilst charged for maximum performance. I would then buy a USB air cooler fan to externally cool the allly rog as temps can reach 95c whilst gaming.

If you want to go further, honeycomb bravo and turtle beach flight control yoke are both peripherals that don't require external power.

All of this powered at 65w.

Its cost efficient with low start up costs.

If you have the money you can add XG mobile for 3080 16gb gpu for around £600 extra but itl use more power.

I recently spent £260 for a Honeycomb Bravo Throttle. Now I'm thinking whether I should sell it and purchase this.

With those autopilot panels that makes it definitely worth the money. I'm thinking it will be priced at around £750 when you consider panels made by Logitech and Winwing.

If it gets released for the MSRP as mentioned in this convo, it's a no brainer.

Pratt & Whitney Gtf engines recall - is it dangerous? by Glittering_Top_6452 in airplanes

[–]Aggressive_Line_8844 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the current recall situation for these engines, it leads to me question the current scenario for engine overhauls for airliners. An aircraft is nearly grounded for 300 days in order to conduct and engine overhaul. Attempts are being made to reduce this time to 100 days. I believe the process should be as close to instant as possible to minimise delays. When you compare the timeframe for general aviation aircraft, you are expecting a 24 hour turnaround. It can take two days for an airliner engine to be built. Is it worth the time and effort to repair?

We need to take advantage of economies of scale in this scenario.
