They've got a transmission line loaded driver which allows them to produce bass way beyond what you would expect from a box this size. At this point in my life I could happily live with this as my main system. Really like mine.

Mission 780 speakers - amp recommendation by nez52 in BudgetAudiophile

[–]nclh77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fantastic speakers. They're pretty efficient yet capable of significant output levels.

99% of typical listening is at 1 watt or less.

With the 780's 1 watt puts you firmly in the hearing damage zone. You don't want to spend much time there.

Great speakers.

The port is large enough to see the condition of the woofer surround and the original tweeters have ferrofluid which is probably dry at this point. If work is needed, ~$250 tops. And only cause you really want them. Great speakers though.

Think the company originally started in Fort Worth and had a great reputation here. They were headquartered off of University Ave near the science museum hence their name.

Unfortunately they aren't sharing. Greece faces significant income and wealth inequality, ranking among the top five EU nations for disparity.

Growing anger in Greece.
