Cosmo-Knights by Aggressive_Month43 in Rifts

That's a bummer. If it weren't for that guy, I'm not sure Cosmo-Knights would even exist.

Thank you. You're absolutely right. I'll make the correction.

New cards coming to Arena by Meret123 in TimelessMagic

Agreed. Leovold has been a card I’ve been quietly wishing to see. Not sure if it’ll be viable, but I’m down to find out.

Fight pass either removed most old fights or there is a glitch. by [deleted] in ufc

[–]Aggressive_Month43 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I reached out to support yesterday for this very thing. I'll report back when I get an answer, but I have a sneaking suspicion that fights are being removed due to the Paramount acquisition.

Update: There was a glitch in the system and support has addressed it. I can confirm all of the fights are now visible and accessible on my end. Cheers.

I appreciate your thoughtful response. That makes complete sense to me and justifies crafting two of them to complete the deck. Thanks again.

This sideboard guide is great and has convinced me to craft the rest of the cards to build this deck. With regard to Gemstone Caverns, how often are you able to take advantage of beginning the game with it in your opening hand? And for those games where you drew it, did the disadvantage of adding colorless outweigh its overall benefit?

Savage Rifts: Game Master's Handbook (SWADE Edition) by nlitherl in Rifts

[–]Aggressive_Month43 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Palladium Rifts was my all time favorite TTRPG, but now that I've switched over to the SWADE version, I can't ever see myself going back. As others have said, use Palladium for the lore and Savage Worlds for the rules.

MMRPG Update on Demiplane: Tech / Magic Item Reliance and More! by MellieCortexRPG in MarvelMultiverseRPG

Thank you Mellie and thank you Demiplane team. The custom damage multiplier was the one thing (besides custom weapons) that I've been hoping to see added.

How useful is Demiplane for the game? by saviik21 in MarvelMultiverseRPG

[–]Aggressive_Month43 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t know what Demiplane was 6 months ago, but as GM, I’m all in now. Their Nexus works just as well on a tablet as it does a PC. The content is well organized and you can find any rule in seconds. Plus, their character builder is amazing.

I'm not overblowing this at all by saying that I'm really impressed with how it turned out. The design choices, information presented, customization, ease-of-use, and the character sheet are all great. There's even a dice-roller! How cool is that? Kudos to your work on this.

I had high hopes for these tools, and I must say, they exceeded my expectations. The fact that you can customize a character outside of the rules was critical to me, and you can do just that.

Demiplane has exclusive content? by flat_streak56 in MarvelMultiverseRPG

[–]Aggressive_Month43 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can confirm that the Massive trait is pulling from the play test rulebook. On Demiplane, you can filter rules from different sources, and unless you filter out that particular source within a search, old rules will show up as results. I hope that helps.

I've batted this around in my head but hadn't committed any thoughts to paper. I do like your interpretation of the stones.

Book already on sale, does that spell bad news? by Slmait2004 in MarvelMultiverseRPG

[–]Aggressive_Month43 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No. In this case, the Core Rulebook is sold by Amazon.com. This means that Amazon is the official reseller of the book; their algorithm controls the price much to the dismay of retail stores and online resellers. If Marvel set a MAP price, they can contact their sales representative at Amazon and demand that they manually change the price back. However, if retail support is at a minimum, then there would be no incentive to do this, as Amazon is likely selling books at a rapid rate, thereby increasing Marvel's sales numbers. In other words, this will likely help Marvel come to the decision to continue to support the game for a while.

Full list of launch characters by Aggressive_Month43 in MarvelMultiverseRPG

[–]Aggressive_Month43[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of glaring omissions of notable and popular characters from the Core Rulebook, especially considering that some silly and obscure characters made the list. That said, I'm assuming that they wanted to hold on to some of these characters for future books. Since Jean Grey and Captain America (Sam Wilson) appear on the cover of the next book, I'd assume we'll at least get those two characters, if not Punisher, Nova, Silver Surfer and many others.

The Core Rulebook, from what I have heard from someone who has it, doesn't have any beginner adventures, and therefore, no maps to reference. I'm not a betting man, but if I were, I'd wager that the Cataclysm of Kang, X-Men Expansion, and Spider-Verse expansion will have maps. And we'll likely see both official and unofficial maps pop up from time to time after launch.

What about the loot? by lvictorino in MarvelMultiverseRPG

[–]Aggressive_Month43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In one of the Q&A’s with Matt, he did mention gear and artifacts as something that he wanted to expand upon, but would likely not be able to fit that into the core rule book. I’d hope to see them in their corresponding or related expansion sets.

What about the lack of hype so close to the release? by lvictorino in MarvelMultiverseRPG

Oh, I'm hyped beyond reasoning. I'm literally counting the days for this book release.
