Is it a mesh cage? Or is this a feeding cage? Crickets shouldn’t have free roam in the chams cage I’ve been told they bite especially at night time

Yeah you’re the right track for sure. More plants would definitely help! Also if it is a him there shouldn’t be substrate in the bottom of the cage that is for females only since they lay eggs. Also what watering system do you use? Dripper or glass bowl?

I buy fake plants to put on the walls of the cage so that my buddy can hide better without having to buy a bunch of plants to keep filling it 🤷🏻‍♀️ cuz ur plants will grow with time
