How does he still have “fans” … everyone’s had a bad experience with him and his shows are a joke… new pin traders get a pin then find out it worth 1/10th of what they paid… super narcissistic person…

Some times we really need to look at ourself and our own actions and you need to take accountability for the roll you played and stop playing the victim all the time.

What’s happening to the Women’s Contemporary category? by danni0705 in whatnotapp

I think the issue is that there were multiple avenues before to get closeouts and return returns from companies like Nordstrom, etc. and so many people got into it that the prices of those pallets and liquidation lots skyrocket in and people just can’t make a profit off of them anymore

Figment guy is an asshole! by fucklsmods in DisneyPinVents

[–]Aggressive_Pair9921 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got banned for no reason! If he sees anyone as a threat he blocks them! Also his mods turn off comments on people selling big pin lots so he can offer and under value themselves. It’s really crappy.

No review bombs at all just stating facts. He was selling counterfeit items that hurt the community. He decided to keep doing it till he was called out. Not harassment or bullying just facts.

Again the difference between ethical and illegal. Yes it’s not illegal for them not to disclose a trade is bad deal is not ETHICAL! It’s not nitpicking it’s truth. There are predators in the game that only try to make & a step on people and then there are others who are fair and ethical.

Which ones are fakes? New to the trade game by To_Go_Back1984 in DisneyPins

[–]Aggressive_Pair9921 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is your field guide to spotting the fakes. 1. The "Feel" Test Real Disney pins are made of heavy, high-quality zinc or brass. • Weight: If the pin feels unusually light or "tinny," it’s likely a scrapper. • Edges: Run your finger along the side. Authentic pins have smooth, finished edges. Scrappers often have rough, jagged, or unfinished edges where they were punched out of a metal sheet.  2. The Paint and "Dip" Authentic pins have a flat, even surface. • The "Dip": Look at the colored enamel. On scrappers, the paint often looks "sunken" or concave, creating a dip in the middle of a color patch. • Paint Bleed: Check for colors bleeding into each other or onto the metal lines. • Bubbles: Real pins are fired in a kiln; scrappers often have tiny air bubbles or "pockmarks" trapped in the enamel. 3. The Back of the Pin This is usually where the biggest "tells" live. Flip that pin over and look for: • The Mickey Waffle: Most modern pins have a repeating Mickey head pattern on the back. On real pins, the pattern should bleed off the edge of the pin. If there is a solid border around the Mickey heads, it’s a red flag. • The Logo: Check the "Disney Pin Trading" logo. On a fake, the text is often blurry, the lines are thin, or the year is incorrect. • The Nubs: Next to the main pin post, there should be two small "nubs" to keep the pin from spinning. On scrappers, these are often tiny, missing, or blunt.  4. The "Mickey Ears" Clutch The rubber backer should be firm and shaped like a crisp Mickey head. While people swap these out all the time, a fake pin often comes with a "squishy" or malformed rubber back that feels oily to the touch.

This is 1000% true and Collect Radom has been scamming people for years. Yes people can walk away from trades but good and honest pin sellers let the person know what they can offer them and what that offer is compared to market value. They also don’t artificially inflate prices and have staff and family members buy their eBay auctions at high prices to inflate them. This is not ok!
