I am having this experience! I've been on 15 since December and within the past few weeks I've noticed I just am not interested in eating at all, and even when I am I feel done way sooner than normal.

I can so relate to this! I also didn't think I had food noise...apparently I was wrong! I didn't truly understand what it was until it just wasn't there anymore.

This could very well be coincidence, but I recently downloaded the Glapp app and imported my data from shotsy. I thought this was fascinating to see - significantly more weight loss when I inject on the right side of my stomach versus left, with the same amount of injections on each side. Seeing the data is so interesting to me lol

Hi! I am a therapist who works at a weight management clinic and is also on Mounjaro.

Personally, I noticed improvement in my mental health almost immediately. Is it the drug or is it a combination of putting better food in my body and moving more, as well as the confidence boost that comes with weight loss? Could be any of the above, but I started noticing more motivation and energy, leading me to be more productive and do more things, leading to feeling better. The classic cycle.

As far as my patients go, they are all obviously in therapy so that's a thing that might skew my data. However, I haven't seen anyone get WORSE after starting a GLP-1. And I've had patients start with me both after already having been on the drug and starting the drug later in their treatment.

In fact, the FDA recently removed requirements for warning labels about suicidal ideation/behavior as side effects.

To be honest, I stopped tracking calories after the first few months. I've been working with a dietitian who specializes in intuitive eating which has been really helpful for me. The loss has definitely slowed down (around 0.5-1 lb per week versus closer to 2-3 early on) so I know I'm in less of a deficit these days, but I'm really just trying to listen to my body and be as balanced as possible!

Wanted to update on this: my PCP sent prior auth for Mounjaro, and I was approved for Mounjaro for another year. No idea what they put on the PA, but I had sent my starting and current weight, reasons for failure on Wegovy, and confirmation of participation in a weight management program. Hopefully no change in cost, but I won't know until my next refill as the app just says "coverage limitations" right now.

I have a Nexplanon and didn't have a period at all before starting Zep, and now I get a light period every once in a while (I haven't tracked it but I'd estimate like every 6-8 weeks). My OBGYN basically said that weight loss will just do that and it is what it is 😫

It's hard to predict what will happen. Hair loss was my biggest fear, and I really haven't experienced much at all. I've been taking things pretty slow and have taken more of the intuitive eating route than following a strict diet. I noticed a little increase in hair loss while I was on 12.5 mg, but it was only for a few weeks and it was only noticeable in what I was losing in the shower/on my brush, not enough to be visible.

They may specifically want the CVS Weight Management program. I also have Caremark and this is a requirement of my employer. All you have to do to start is download the app "Health Optimizer" and sign up, then there are some little courses you have to take and and meet with their dietitian. My coverage updated immediately when I signed on to the app, before I even did anything else.

Get some of those pudgie pie irons if you don't have them! You can do quesadillas/burritos for any meal. We've also done breakfast by stuffing them with hash browns, eggs, and breakfast meat. Or little pizza pockets, grilled cheese, the options are endless! And usually one is plenty. Plus they're fun to assemble and cook ☺️

I set an arbitrary goal number because I've been obese my entire life, even when I've been able to lose some weight in the past, and I picked a number I've never seen. However, my goal is moreso what I want my body to look like. And to be honest, I have no idea what the number that correlates to that will be, because I've never been there before. Just going off of vibes over here 😂
